Like the saw

I have had this saw for a long time .I have used it to cut everything from wood trim to fiber cement, metal, masonry, and even paneling. This saw has never let me down and still works like new.

excellent saw

The C7SB3 7-1/4 circular saw is such a big upgrade from my 30 year old Skil-Saw. Its much lighter, cuts so much smoother and quicker. I use it mainly to deconstruct pallets and its doing a much better job. Its so much easier to change blades and its easier to handle. I would highly recommend anyone who's considering buying a new circular saw to purchase this saw

I really like all of the new features

I have never owned or even used a circular saw before, so I did a lot of research before buying one.  I looked at the reviews, compared prices, and felt that the Metabo saw suited my needs and my budget.  I am very impressed with the quality and the performance, and it is surprisingly lightweight. I am a small woman and a senior citizen and I am very pleased with how easy it is to carry and use.

Quality, affordability and easy to use

My 25 yr old Sears Craftsman just couldnt cut straight anymore as the motor bearings had wornout.  As a small poultry farmer, I needed something powerful enough to cut oak 2x4s and cut them straight so we could put up tin on some chix coops.  This saw fits the bill.

Fantastic basic saw

I was actually surprised I purchase this saw because I'm doing flooring in my home. it came out great didn't give the wood cut didn't end up with splinters in the end of it each cut..  Cut cleaning and steady, great price point and was reliable for me...

Circular saw wooden floors

The saw cut smoothly, cleanly, and truly like a hot knife through butter.  It was an excellent choice to replace my old circular saw which was worn out through hard service.  I like the lock to hold the blade while installing or removing the blade.  Having a place on the saw itself to store the hex wrench for the arbor saves frustration trying to find the arbor wrench like my old saw had.  I also like the sturdy aluminum base.  Overall, I am very satisfied with the saw.

An old guy who previously was using an old saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Metabo saw had good reviews and i needed a new one so i gave this a try. It has a very comfortable grip, and much less vibration than saws I've owned in the past. It blows the sawdust out of the way efficiently and is accurate on its line. I also like the cord holder at the back of the saw which effectively keeps the cord out of the way. Its definitely a saw I would recommend.  Its an excellent value for the money.

Great saw

Lightweight and  the base is very stable, glides really well along a cutting fence.  The only thing I don't like is the dust kick out chute, should have routed the dust more towards the back instead of to the side right into your face,  will probably order the optional dust chute to see if that helps

Circular Saw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Saw seems well made but wouldn't cut straight along a straightedge... after examining, I found that the sole plate (shoe) was out of alignment by 1/8" from the front to the back of the blade. No quality control!
