I bought this after frustrations with “cool” humidifiers and using the old fashioned vaporizer that was either “off” or “on”.  With respiratory issues - I need “warm” and living in a dry area I need to be able to regulate the level of humidity in my bedroom. This unit has everything!   The “cool” one left a white film on everything and I was breathing it in too!  AND love that this has a timer on it!  I can start it before bed and turns off a couple hours later!  It's awesome!  Wish I hadn't wasted my money on the “cool” humidifiers.  Will be purchasing another one!

We put it in our livingroom, it does what its supposed to do, raises the humidity. easy to use. love that we can choose either cool mist or warm mist.  only downfall so far  is the lid that u can take off for easy fill will have water on it so some water will go onto my floor if im not careful.  its not a b8g deal as i have hardwood floors so easy to wipe up.  would defently recommend.   im thinking about getting a second one for my daughter's bedroom.

I ordered the product online and it was delivered in a timely way. When I opened up the package, the product which looked perfect did not work. It wouldn't even turn on! This is my first bad experience with a Homedics product. Everything that I ordered in the past worked perfectly. I have since returned this bad one for a replacement. I am waiting to see what happens next. How fast does Homedics honor its return policy?

One bad apple?

Ok so I am extremely unhappy. I used this once when I first got it and now a few weeks later I plugged it in for just the second time- and it started on fire. Smoke was pouring out everywhere. I am EXTREMELY lucky I didn't just plug it in and walk away or my house would have burned done. I want my money back because there is no way I would trust another one of these in my house around my family.
