This box is so great. It is attached with Velcro and when looked at these tree boxes in other stores the cost was so much more than what I purchased it for and the quality is great!

Bought this to solve the issue of my three cats rolling around in the traditional fabric tree skirts.  It comes in a flat box, it's mdf and two separate hinged pieces.  You put the two pieces together using velcro that is stapled on it - worked surprisingly well and no issues so far.  Our tree still left a big enough gap from the bottom branch to the top of the cover so the cats quickly jumped in the box.  Had to add a piece of plywood with a hole cut in the middle as a "lid" but it worked great.  So 4 stars as it's almost perfect, but not sure why they didn't hinge three sides and and only have one velcro side, and if they'd included a "lid" it would've been perfect.  Lots of compliments on it so far.
