This is the best fan I've ever had. It's very powerful for a table fan, and I would highly recommend it. It's a great fan to sleep with, as it keeps me cool and blocks out the outside noises. I live in an apartment, and it can get noisy at times. I use it often when I'm getting ready for work, as well as when I'm in the kitchen cooking. I love this fan!!

Have had Holmes Blizzard fans in my home for the last 10 years. Love them for sleeping. They move the air and are not whisper quiet. Just the way I like it. Only down side is, I wish they still carried the tall ones. My husband accidently knocked ours over and broke it. Had to order the desktop one, but still happy with it.

We ordered during the holiday season and when we recieved the fan it was damaged during shipping. One less than 5 minute call and a new one was on it's was on its way at no charge or hassle. Awesome fan and very quiet!

I've been using this brand for many years and as long as they make them I will continuing using it.  If you like a loud (but quiet) noise when sleeping this is the fan for you.

I love the Blizzard. I bought my first Blizzard ages ago. Whether I have it in the office or my bedroom the fan immediately cooled me down. If you are wanting a quiet fan this is not for you, it's too powerful to be silent. However the sound is not irritating and does a great job of drowning out loud neighbors. After many years (between 7-10), my first one finally died. I wasn't sleeping welI without it. I wasn't sure if this model would be the same but it's just as strong as my original! I'm so happy.

Perfect name for this fan

I love this fan, because it DOES make noice. Sleep with it on every night to drown out sound and it does blast some blizzard air. Best fan I've ever owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product since last 4 years and i again bought exactly the same product as the quality is excellent and also due to wear and tear i was getting squeaking noise after using it for few years and hence thought of change.
Strongly recommend this product.

Great product.

I love this fan!  I bought the old model years ago back when it was white.  A few months ago it finally gave up the ghost.  After faithfully keeping me cool at night for many years, I woke up one morning and it was no longer spinning...(moment of silence)

This new model is physically the same accept for the cool new black color, the only difference from the old white version is the slow startup because of the new energy saving feature.  Once it gets up to speed tho it is just as power full and effective as the old model and for such a small fan it dose pack a lot of power.  I love this new fan just as much as it's predecessor.  It really dose live up to the name Blizzard.

Thank you for making such a grate product and keeping it available for so long.  Most companies drop old stuff for new cheaply made junk, or modify and up grade the thing till it is unrecognizable or barely functions the way it was originally meant to.

Best fan I have ever bought...  Twice!

The only reason I gave this a 3 was the noise.   This is the 3rd of these fans I have purchased due to the noise level.  They drown out the noise so my kiddos can sleep.  This fan isn't as noisy as previous fans I purchased.  We still like it & just have to put it on the 2nd setting to achieve the noise we need.  Works great!

SORRY, I CAN'T HEAR YOU, THIS FAN IS TOO LOUD! EXTREMELY LOUD!  do you ever wonder if the reviews you read about a product are true? Well after purchasing this fan based on the great reviews I read, I am leaning towards believing they are paid reviews, or just plain bogus, OR I GOT A BUM PRODUCT. I PICKED THIS FAN BECAUSE IT WAS SAID TO BE  QUIET, but powerful and i needed a smaller sized fan for the bedroom.  Perhaps it may have got bumped around alot during shipping and too many Thuds knocked something ajar.  The MERCHANT shipped it from the WEST COAST (I live on the opposite ) WITHOUT double boxing it and without any type of packing material.  SHAME ON YOU.  I returns were NOT such a PAIN, I would definitely return this ROARING, EAR DRUM SPLITTING CONTRAPTION.
