At first, it doesn't stick to the sink at all because I followed the instruction when it said use it only on clean and dry surface. But that fails me and I was about to return it.

But I gave it another try with just adding a few splash of water before sticking it to the sink and it works miraculously and hold up ever since. Maybe the instruction should have be revised. I love the product overall.

It suctions just great. Maybe the people who had trouble didn't know to moisten it to help the suction. 
My sink, very shallow because the apartment is ADA compliant, is far too short to use the caddy as pictured. However, it works perfectly, held in place by the suction cup alone.
I highly recommend using it to keep your sink/sponge/extras tidy and organized!

Awesome Caddy!

Stuck perfectly, first try. Was just surprised it didn't come with the brush pictured.

Worked perfect

I found the best way to attach the caddy was to wet the sink and suction cup with soapy water.  I didn't try to place the caddy in the exact position but close.  I tightened the screw until the suction began then slid the caddy into position and fully tightened.  The sink has a sculpted edge so I placed two small self-adhesive silicon pads between the caddy and the sink.  The caddy works great!

Holster Surelock Sponge Caddy

This sponge caddy is above and beyond nut expectations. I have replaced previous ones over and over because the suctions don't stick! This one, has a locking mechanism that ensures that it remains stuck. I love the color and sleek look and that I can even put one of my bottle brush's in it.

Perfect for my sink!

I was gifted this product by Umbra as an Umbra Ambassador. I like it a lot so far! I appreciate that the round dial (where the logo is) twists in to make the suction cup attach to the sink. I gave it 4 stars because the design isn't perfect. Since my counter sticks out slightly past the sink wall, I cannot get as tight of a suction as I would like. I think it would work better in kitchens where the sink wall and countertop lip are flush. Because on this, mine fell off a few times. I'm going to test it out by attaching it to a wet sink next time, which seems to help suction cup products adhere better!

Sponge caddy looks good but...

Bought it for my father- it did NOT work on his sink. Went to my son - again FAILURE. Now to me— still trying without success. I see that even the so called positive reviews say to not follow the instructions and try to  install a different way. A MESS

Does NOT hold. Lesson in frustration
