[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a DIYer, I found this to be hands-down the easiest way to add a professional-looking texture to any room. Since the sand is pre-mixed into the formula, I achieved a consistent finish across the entire surface without the hassle of using a hopper gun. It applies like thick paint, making the process very forgiving and easily hiding my minor wall imperfections and drywall flaws. The two-gallon size provided me with ample coverage, allowing me to transform a large space quickly with minimal cleanup afterward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. It is truly ready to use right out of the package. (Yes, you need to use a drill and mixer attachment, but it's a five minute job). It went on easily; I switched between a roller and a 4" brush, both of which worked well to put this on the wall. I did a 4'x4' section, then used a broom to make my swirls. The result was perfect - exactly what the previous owner did to the walls! The addition is now absolutely seamlessly integrated into the rest of the house!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Followed the mixing and priming instructions and got a uniform finish on a skimcoated ceiling in one coat.  Used 1 gallon for a 12x12 room.

I used this on a ceiling and got just the finish I was looking for.  Said that a 2 gallon pail would cover 150 sq ft.   I bought 5 pails and only used just over 2.  Took 2 back to Walmart for refund.

This is a handy product! The manufacturer probably won't vouch for any of this, but I use it to skip the step of taking down wall paper. For anyone who has ever taken down wall paper themselves you know that can lead from one disaster to another as the drywall gets damaged during the removal process. A pro is likely to do well, but try finding someone for small jobs (unlikely), and in either case the walls are always left imperfect unless you are ready for lots of sanding steps, dust and workers. One day I figured the wall paper was fine and I would just slap this on with a highly textured stucco like pattern and viola! I painted and it was beautiful. (I would always have had to paint no matter what.)
Another thing is the way you can get creative, applying in different patterns. So with heavy horizontal brush strokes you get this stone-wall look, might not even need to paint unless again you want a different color, a finish that's not flat, etc. I've even used it instead of ceiling popcorn finish for slight repairs (less than a square foot) as it beats that popcorn mess anytime and has perfect adhesion for when painting the next day. Highly recommend.

This is one handy product! Multiple uses.

In an old house this stuff is amazing to blend in plaster that has been here for 100 years. We used it to blend where we patched wall cracks. Love this  stuff!

The directions say ready to use with a roller, trowel, etc... This is definitely not ready to use with a roller as stated on the pail. If you click on their website directions it states to add water and mix to smooth consistency. It is basically a thickened version of spackle.
