[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a set of these about six months ago and ended up buying a second set. They aren't GREAT, but they do the job, especially considering the cost. The plastic is a bit cheaper and the lids don't snap shut as well as I would like (they probably aren't 100% air-tight), but they keep my cereal from getting stale, and they look better than having a million boxes on top of the refrigerator. I use the largest one for cereal, the middle size for rice, and the smallest for dried black beans. I should note that I have not had any issues with insects in my apartment, but if those tiny ants are a concern for you, I would probably choose a different product. These are great if you are trying to prevent larger bugs (spiders, moths, flies, large ants, lady bugs, etc) but those itty bitty bugs *might* be able to find their way in due to inconsistent sealing of the lids. I haven't seen any bugs in my food, but again, my apartment doesn't have an insect problem at baseline.

Don't buy it

The set comes with three containers. The smallest container has very few things you could store in it because of its small size. I put sugar in it. The problem though is that the lid on the smallest one pops off easily. If I could purchase again, I would have bought a higher quality container and put the extra money into it. You should not have to worry about lids popping off the containers it defeats the purpose. I duct taped the smallest container lid on. I cannot take chances of sugar dumping everywhere.

Review

The lids fit poorly. The dispenser tops don't consistently stay closed. On the smallest dispenser, when the dispenser top is opened, it pops the entire top off of the container. These work, but the design and execution quality is poor.

Poor Design

Looks like it would be good. Bought a lot of these when I got pantry moths. Not air tight little ants everywhere in all the cereal containers. I try to seal them well. Works best when you leave cereal in bag and overlap the box. Then one day they figured it out. Ants again.
