I'm not usually a contemporary pattern aficionado, but I was drawn to the bright & colorful pattern, it's very uplifting & looks great in light filled rooms, which bring out the cheerfulness & positivity of the pattern/colors. Texture is wonderful, the thickness of the rug is of a medium density. I haven't had to clean it yet, but it seems to be of good quality to do so.
