Home Trends Area Rug

My house is decorated in a Tim Burton theme so I'm always after medium black and white striped items :) When I seen this carpet I had to have it and it fit perfectly in my home.

To the person complaining about the price... It's priced at a bargain. Area rugs are VERY expensive and you can get nice ones from Wal-Mart for the fraction of the cost.

Unfortunately when I first laid it on the my floor... my cat barfed on it -_- ... and it stained immediately. I tried washing it on a hand wash cycle (On cold) and the white became dingy :'( ... but for the price I will totally buy another one and put the old one in the basement family room... I'll probably treat the new carpet first so it repels stains :p

Great deal for the price. A small spot of something was spilled on it, and I used spot shot, and I noticed the black came off onto the cleaning cloth, but it didn't affect the rug.

Looks Great!

I bought this rug over a month ago and I can tell that its going to last a long while. The only thing I need now that plastic or rubber under mat underneath because it slides around quite a bit.

Very affordable and is good for the price

The picture is making it seem a lot more crisp when it comes to the colours. It's more of a canvas shade of beige/white and the black isn't as opaque because its just black paint over the beige/white fabric. I wouldn't recommend this for a high traffic area I think the black will fade quickly. For the price though it's decent. Rugs are definitely one of those things where you get what you pay for.

Not exactly as shown but still good,

This is a good rug. When I say good, look wise it really brings out your living room. Especially with dark hardwood floors. The feel of the rug is just like any other normal one's, rugged.

Looks good but feel ain't great

I loved the stripes so had to have this rug and the price was good...but it's material is horrible. It's more like canvas that's been painted than a soft rug. Feels like it should be for the patio and not for inside.

Great size, poor material

When I bought this rug, I was expecting a black and white stripes rug as it shows in the picture. It turns out the white looks like a cream and the black is a washed out color. The material is rough and doesn't have a good grip with the carpet. I ended up returning this item.

It wasn't what I expected unfortunately

Arrived on time but the quality aand workmanship was peer.  In several areas the back die had leaked onto the white ares.  We returned the carpet without any problems using Canad Post.

Poor Quality

I would not suggest buying this rug, it slips on hard wood or vinyl floor, does not hold it shape not worth the price.
