I can control how deep I want the massage action to be by pulling lightly on the attached handles. There is also a slight heating element that provides a soothing massage without it getting too hot. I also love that is rechargeable and comes with the charging usb cord. This was a great find! Highly recommend!

I always have some neck pain and tension and this neck massager really does the trick. My favorite part about the massager is that it's batter powered so I don't have to keep an obnoxious long cord connected when I use it. Sometimes I bring this out to my backyard and use it while sitting by the fire. Nothing better.

The heat is so wonderful I could keep on that all evening if I did not have little ones. I found best time is after a hot shower or bath when your body is limber. Great addition to our home. Great Product

Nothing seems to help, but the neck massager helps. I love that it has heat. The heat helps the muscles in my neck not be so tight and tense. What a relief

After using the product for just 5 minutes he stated he noticed that his neck region was feeling less tense and tight. This caused the pain in his upper back to dissipate also. It has a heat option which is nice for extra relaxation. It also has handles so you can hold onto comfortably. It's pretty quiet too even though it's right next to my ear, noone else in the room could hear it.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lot of neck issues and have had my eye in a few different neck type massagers. I'm glad I went with this one though, it isn't too bulky or heavy, it's rechargeable (which I absolutely love! No running out of batteries when you need it the most or looking for an outlet to sit next to do you can use it) it's made up of a nice firm  padding (the cover has a zipper so you can take it off and wash it, which I also love because a lot of them out there don't have this feature) I also like that I have the option of heat, sometimes heat helps my sore stiff neck, but sometimes it doesn't so I like having the option) you can either sit with it around your neck or you can hold the handles on each side, your going to get a deeper massage if you hold the handles though. Now about the massage itself, it's not too rough but isn't so light that it doesn't do anything (this is kind of hard to explain but really important) I need it to reach the muscles in my neck but not make them more sore (think mall massage chairs that are just way to jarring and rough) this isn't like that, it really is the perfect medium! This really has made a huge difference for me and you can't beat the value! I do wish maybe it would have came with a little bag or something to carry and transport it in for travel, but that's such a small thing. Also this is great for travel just charge it up before your trip and you are good to go, I've only had to charge mine once and have gotten many many issues out of it so far!

This makes it great for situations where USB charging is readily available and the need for cordless operation is necessary.  Overall, it works well as a neck massager and has two straps that let you angle the decide and apply more pressure in certain areas.  The heat functionality is light - don't expect a heating pad (remember this is a battery powered device) but the heat is noticeable and a nice addition.

A more gentle neck massage experience

The plastic pointy massage thingys are very hard and press into your cervical spine and doesn't have any give. The warmer part doesn't heat up at all and it has two handles on it to maybe hold it tighter on your neck maybe… who wants to hold their arms up while getting a neck massage? Not me.
