These are sturdy chairs. You will have to assemble. The hardware includes an allene key. You will need a star screwdriver for the arm screw. You should be a good assembler. Spray the holes that have metals and the bolts with WD 40. This will clean any rusts that have accumulated and make the assembly smoother.
