Lion brand yarn is always great and this was no exception. I love the look of Homespun yarn tho it can make it difficult to catch your stitches easily.

Great Yarn

made a perfect twin size blanket with 10 rolls of yarn. Pricey but deffinetly worth it. I now have a blanket that is thick without bulk, soft and still keeps me warm without getting too hot! love it!

Lion Brand "Thick and Quick" yarn may be a little pricey but makes a beautiful, soft product! People who see it want to touch it because it looks and IS so soft'

Gorgeous and Cuddly soft

Lion Brand Homespun Thick & Quick Yarn is fantastic. So very soft to the touch, easy for me to work with and I can't wait to get my cardigan done. I found the pattern on the Lion Brand website but I really couldn't afford their price for yarn. Walmart came to my rescue! I got the same exact yarn brand at a dollar less per skein. Thanks Walmart for being a great yarn supplier for less!

Great Yarn!

I'd been making time consuming afghans because I needed two Wedding ones (for adult grandkids) and the third was a house warming one for yet another granddaughter who just moved into a new house with her soon-to-be husband. I made them with Red Heart LOVE yarn, and these took lots of time. Then I needed a birthday gift quickly and tried regular Homespun and made an awesome beautiful blanket. One more was promised, but I really wanted a break from crocheting, so I opted to give Homespun Thick & Quick Yarn a try. I love the results and felt good giving it and a matching decorative pillow to a dear friend... BUT what I loved most of all was how quickly it got done. I would not hesitate using it again if I need a gift for a loved one in a hurry'... Now I'm taking a short break, BUT at 81, I decided it was time I had a new afghan for myself ... one that will double as my 'bedspread'. Of all the yarns I've used in the past year, it's the regular Homespun that I'll buy next because I don't want it quite as warm as the Thick & Quick or take as long as LOVE or Simply Soft. The one caution I'd make with both the Homespun yarns is to never let end yarns hang around without putting a good knot in it ... or else you will have a frizzy mess that doesn't even resemble a strand of yarn. The knot solves the problem very well.

Fun making an afghan that fast.

The yarn is great. But I bought some at my local walmart and paid 5.00 a skein for it. When i purchashed it on line it was more than 2.00 more a skein...

I love the yarn.disappointed with price.

very one loves how soft the finished products are. the only downfall is that is it hard to crochet with, you can only do double, triple, or granny square, too hard to do other stitches. but I will continue to use because of how soft.

The pictures of the colors for this yarn never do it justice; I recommend seeing it in person. However, with the way it's constructed, it's difficult to see your stitches, and easy to hook sections of the yarn you didn't mean to. Fabulous for thick, silky afghans.
