This was easy to assemble. I used a drill, and put the whole thing together in under two hours. Using a screwdriver would take forever, so save yourself the headache and use a drill. Also, keep a rubber mallet handy for the wooden dowels that will need to be inserted. The cabinet is heavy, well-made, and really nice! It's easy to move into its location without the drawers. The drawers glide easily. The wood feels solid. It's a beautiful piece that should last for years with minimal abuse. I wouldn't recommend for a kid's room, unless you don't mind touching up the black finish. To give an idea of capacity, I was able to fit 8 pairs of women's medium sweat pants into one of the large drawers.

Beautiful Piece

walmart.com

I love this piece of furniture. I was shocked at how sturdy and heavy it actually was. The only thing cheaply made on it was the pressed wood for the drawers, but even then they are not bad. The wood on the sides, top, and front of drawers is real nice hard wood. The knobs are solid metal and heavy. The whole piece is beautifully made and was not too bad to put together. A little time consuming, but the directions were easy to follow and had good illustrations!!!!

Was Pleasantly Pleased

This is small, but perfect for my needs. Love the quality and the color. Easy to assemble, and it looks amazing! Would definitely buy again.

Small, But Perfect

I got this chest for my son's room. I was having a very difficult time finding a true black chest to match my son's true black bed. I kept seeing black-brown... Until I ran into this little gem here... True black... It wasn't very difficult to put together... It is solid and very sturdy. The shelves glide open and close... Worth every penny. I would absolutely recommend this product. It is a 48 inch tv on the second picture.
Very nice... Very sturdy

Very nice... Very sturdy

I have been buying furniture from Walmart for years. This piece is very nice and looks great, but for everyday use, it might not be recommended. It's a little cheap on the drawers, thin wood and it cracks easy when you are putting it together. The directions were good but I did need my husbands help a few times and that usually never happens. Be ready for some lengthy time putting it together! The outside look of it is so beautiful that it out weights the cheap inside ...

Looks really nice!

This thing took my husband and I hours to put together. The material is cheap and cracks easily when putting together, also the drawers are not very deep. I bought it to hold our family board games, very few fit. I know now not to trust this brand in furniture.

Looks just okay.
