This was not the first piece of put-together furniture I bought, but it was certainly the best. Each piece was wrapped to protect it from damage; the nails, screws, etc. were individually bagged and labelled. Finished product does not scream "I put this together from a kit." Excellent piece of furniture.

Buffet Beautiful

I was very pleased with this Buffet, it looks just like the picture on the web site. It is absolutely beautiful , sturdy, and functional The only thing that is a negative is that the drawers are not very big, but otherwise I love it.

Nice piece of furniture

Holds lots, looks great! Added much needed storage to small apartment.

Better than expected

We were surprised at how nice this piece of furniture is.  Did have a little difficulty putting it together, but once it was done we were quite impressed.

Very nice buffet.

This took my husband a long time to put together, but I absolutely love it! This is good quality and added a lot of storage space to my small kitchen. It's extremely nice looking.

Worth the assembly time

The assembly is not difficult if all the pieces arrive in ONE (1) piece, one person shouldn't attempt the assembly alone.

The doors on the buffet spring open every time my 4# dog walks past them, the buffet is level and the floor incredibly sound so it must just be the breeze she creates. There are gaps in the construction and providing you will have a white wall behind it they shouldn't notice them.

A fair price for this item with consideration of free shipping should be $199.00 and that is only if the buyer doesn't get angry with having to wait 7 - 10 days for the parts that were broken in shipping.

Item arrived broken

Don't get this product!

First let me say that I don't want to come off as some sore loser complaining about frivolous details or service. My experience with this product and, more importantly, the supplier/manufacturer has been the worst I have ever encountered anywhere!

The product turned up on time and took 2 hours to assemble - fairly straight forward stuff.

Once the unit was completed there were 3 damaged components, a large scratch in the top door unit, a large dent/nick in one of the drawer fronts and a large dark mark that could not be washed out. Someone obviously wasn't checking the quality of the production!

The quality isn't $400 worth, the materials look and feel cheap (I would equate this to a $100-$150 IKEA unit at best). There are numerous knots in the front facing panels and somebody got a bit too happy when using the nail gun to attach the struts that hold the perspex panes in place. The top doors on our unit do not hang straight and there is no way to adjust the hinges to compensate for this (unlike IKEA units).

The drawers are small, they aren't designed to hold cutlery, more like menus and the usual junk such as keys, batteries etc.

The bottom component is fairly sturdy for what it is. The drawers open nicely on the runners. The doors however are a different matter. They seemed to have used industrial strength magnets to hold the doors in place and you need to pull hard on them to open so much so you can move the unit). Also the right door needs to be opened first as the left door has a lip on it (that might not seem much but its a pain when what you need is behind the left door and you need to open the right first).

There is still a plasticky smell in the top cupboard area - even after washing it out with vinegar and leaving the doors open.

Overall, even without the damage, I would not be happy with the quality of this unit for the amount charged. Realistically it should be $150-200, that would seem a more accurate and fair price.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
