Product is an excellent value for the price. All hard wood. It exceeded my expectations. The sleigh bed that is part of the suit is also an above average value.

Great Value

Beautiful and sturdy when assembled, but be sure to check all pieces before assembling. I ordered 2. Opened the first and looked over the instructions to lay pieces out for assembly. As I was doing this I was able to look over each piece and see they were not damaged.
I made the unfortunate error before assembling the 2nd of just laying out the pieces without inspecting. The top piece stays upside down until after the cabinet is assembled and attached to the top. At that time I flipped it over and saw that the top was severely scratched.
I found this cabinet on several sites, but the reasons I ordered from Walmart was the ease of returning if there was a problem. Took the nearly completely assembled night stand into the store along with the remaining parts and had no problem whatsoever returning. Really appreciate that.
Another bonus is the company purposely includes an extra of each hardware (screw, peg, etc.) No fun trying to put something together and then needing to run to the store because hardware is missing.

Be sure to look over all pieces before assembling

I purchased two of the Lafayette rich cherry nightstands. They arrived in good condition with clear instructions. All the parts were there and fit with the exception of one leg. The leg was usable however. The top on one of the nightstands had a flaw which should have been noticed and rejected at the factory. After I had gone to all the trouble to assemble it I didn't want to return it. If you are not to tickle these nightstands are acceptable. Except for the flaw the appearance is very nice. these are made of real wood (not pressed wood). They have a solid feel after assembly and weigh about 45 pounds.
