I had a couple of the larger bowls from this series already and found them so easy to clean, I use them as fresh fruit and fresh veggie bowls. When I saw this set I just had to order one, especially as I needed one more of the bowls for salads, a dip/serve plate and serving platter.

When I unpacked the set, I was surprised at how well they were packaged. Each piece had a plastic sleeve in between (would have liked to see paper instead, but it is what it is) and corrugated cardboard inserted around them so the pieces didn't slide around during shipping.

They are durable, easy to clean and make a nice serving set. This is what you get that constitute as 8 pieces:
-1 dip/serve plate suitable for veggies & dip, chips & dip, you name it and it's huge (won't stand up vertically in our full-size dishwasher, better on top rack upside down)
-1 dinner-sized plate
-1 dessert-sized plate
-1 salad serving sized bowl
-1 salad bowl, great for cereal or snacking as well
-1 rectangular serving platter
-1 pair (so these count as 2) salad server spoon & spork (and they're a really nice, large size)

If you're looking for something to use for a get together, or just want to have some pieces that are nice for occasional or even frequent use, you won't be disappointed, I know I wasn't!

This is a very nice serving set. Goes well with the mini bowls (sold separately) in the same patterns. Perfect for outdoor dining.
