Love the pergola... So beautiful in my backyard

Amazing...

Beautiful! Set up was pretty easy... sturdy and heavy enough to withstand wind (we slide the shade to open the roof up if it's windy). Rails and shade can be easily removed for winter.

Love this! Would buy another if it wasn't sold out

Fit up was good and we enjoy the retractable awning. There is a small awning that comes with it but we did not install it because the use was not clear. The instructions are fairly good but are pictures and drawings only with no words. Some rust spots have shown up so a coat of tremclad wìll likely be needed at the end of the summer. The price was right for this unit.

Good retractable shade pergola

I bought this 3 summers ago and it has been great.  I took the canopy material off each fall and put up the next summer.  After 3 years the material has worn in some spots and frayed so I tried to order a replacement canopy.  For some reason, it is difficult to do so.  My first order was cancelled without any notice.  I have tried again but I haven't heard back from the company.  I hear it is in the warehouse, then it has to come from China, then they ran out of stock.  It is frustrating but I do like the product and I am hoping I can get a replacement canopy.  It has held up well through 3 Ontario winters.

We got this pergola a few weeks ago.  My husband put it together. Instructions not very good. A piece was bent but Wal-Mart replaced it no problem. It is a very beautiful pergola and we love it. Good deal for the price! You have to be patience putting it together !

Very classy looking pergola

I bought this 2 years ago! Didn't have any issues installing. Looked beautiful the first year! Second year the canopy started to show small tears so at the end of the summer it was no longer serviceable(we removed the canopy and stored it inside at the end of the summer) contacted Sunjoy and was advised it would be 125.00-so 250.00 total US for both sections-also they would only ship to an American address?? I can buy a whole new one for 298.00?????!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this in a Walmart in Canada!!!!!
They should provide the option to purchase the replacement canopy in store as you can for gazebos or at least Canada?? I am currently looking for fabric and someone who can 
possibly sew me a new one!! Very frustrating!!

Replacement canopy

As previously stated in a review  from Erin and pics posted I have the same problem with the roller clips snapping from  rain accumulation .The clips should be metal and the pergola should be slightly peaked in the middle to allow the rain to drain off . I need a set of 7 clips and rollers .

I bought this last year from walmart, as this was the perfect 10X8 that I needed. Only 1 store in all of GTA had it and I drove 3 hours to get it. Overall was able to put it up, but it might be a returned item and it was 2 parts. Tried calling their support numerous time, went on their website, submitted feedback; no response! Works though, but not sure how to get those 2 small parts to complete it.

More than 4 hours has two adults, for a low quality pergolas. I am decue to put so much energy for the instalation to finally have a structure not solid..

Difficult to climb

Purchased this pergola and put it up the next day. Instructions are terrible and three of the support rods were bent plus pullys are made of plastic and a couple of them broke when installing. Called customer service and in order for the parts to be replaced it had to go before a review board who will decide. Plus you pay the shipping on the parts. The box clearly states do not return to store so you are st the mercy of Sunjoy to decide. Now I wait.
