I am very satisfied with this purchase. The directions were very helpful.  I am an 80-year-old woman and after I assembled the first stool, I was good to go.  It didn't take me long to assemble the other three.  They are very nice-looking bar stools.

The lowest level of the seat is a little high for normal counter height for a 5'5"er. Note: the last pieces to add - the washer and bolt on the bottom of the main screw, are counter threaded. My husband also stated that he'd prefer a wider seat. Otherwise, we love how there's no back to swivel and hit the counter or get in the way when wiping down the counter, love the adjustable height as well as the swivel seat to adjust it (no flimsy handle that ends up breaking), the stability of the structure, and the convenient foot rest. The look is attractive and matches our floor. Overall great quality; thankful to get them on a flash sale deal!

Worth it.

What a great buy, 2 for 55.00. They are heavy and very durable. They look good with my farmhouse bar. Also love that you can adjust from 27-30 inches.

Just as described and a good value for the money!

I like these stools now that I've got them assembled. The assembly was a bear. For the most part it was fairly easy - just 4 simple steps to follow. You get pictures of what to put together but otherwise no written instructions. The parts were all well organized and everything I needed was there. What I had a problem with was step three - putting on the ring that serves as a foot rest. I attached three legs easily, but the fourth was difficult to put in the right place and I struggled for a long time with each stool. Eventually after much frustration and prayer I got these together. Even wished I could be one of those women who said, "It was no problem - my HUSBAND put it together." But I have no husband so it was hard work for me and I wished something was written on the instructions to make that step easier. I can see why Walmart has a discounted price on this item because I imagine there might be others who got to step three and gave up and returned these stools out of frustration. But in the final analysis, I have to say the stools seem to be well-made and sturdy, and I'm glad I bought them.

Great stools / difficult assembly in step three

This was a cheap set. I got it mostly for the look but they are not comfortable, and they tend to fall on their own regardless of how much you tighten them. They will do for now. I needed to replace a set my cats tore up. I will likely replace these with better ones but for $40 a set, couldn't beat the price!

The stools look very nice and the price is good.  However, I could not get the bottom bold into the bottom on both stools.  This is the bold/washer that goes on the bottom to keep the seat from completely unscrewing off.  Otherwise these are nice looing stools.

Nice looking stools and good price

I was torn on recommending- they are exactly what you are paying for, as they are relatively inexpensive and they look pretty. The seat is a hard molded plastic so a pillow topper may fix the comfort level and they are adjustable in height but with that comes the seat tends to want to spin. We bought them as an in-between until we find the perfect ones!

Good for the Price

I was excited to assemble these two chair. Almost done when we couldn't figure out how to put the step on in place .'it wasn't matching and now indind myself dangling my feet

They are super cute but my order was missing screws and washers. Had to go to Lowe's and spent $20 on the specialized screws and washers so they were not a good bargain. Luckily my son is super handy and was able to make them serviceable.
