I would give this product a 10+ if I could. It's a fantastic product without all the terrible side effects of retinol. But it works even better than the other products I have ever used. It's very hydrating and my 63 year old skin looks better and better as time goes by using this product. Can't wait to try all of their products that are for me.

Excellent product and price

The Honest Company

So far so good. I have eased into the retinol, but not enough. I started getting patches of dry skin, but that is not to the fault of the product. My skin just needs more time to adjust and extra hydration. Generally, I felt that my face looked brighter and less dull after just 3 applications, so I am looking forward to the long-term results. Definitely more noticeable results than other brands I have tried.

Seems to be a good and quality product

I love this serum, makes skin feel soft and renewed, I have used retinol products for years and this so far is the best, actually can tell a difference. I used every 3 days at first then every other, and now every night, no redness or dryness, I use the honest facial oil after it, I really do feel a difference after putting it on, and yes I still have wrinkles but they have softened, dark age spots slightly lightened, I am just starting my second bottle, will keep purchasing

Bought this for my wife and she loves it.She works as an esthetician and she has a good knowledge in beauty products.If she loves it it's an amazing product.

Excellent product

I have been using this product for about six months now, I use it nightly and hasn't dried out my face. I researched retinol products before buying one and that seemed to be the common thing.

Not drying

This is the first retinyl serum that I have ever used and it is amazing. My skins feels so smooth and I can honestly say after a month my texture is getting better and my pores look smaller. It smells amazing as well. It's my favorite product to use and I get so excited when it's time to apply. I've been using the toner and moisturizer as well so I'm not sure if it's this product alone or a combination of all three but I will continue to purchase.

Amazing

This has a nice texture that soaks into your face quickly. It's not sticky or tacky like other serums. I've been using it for two weeks now and it doesn't make my face dry and itchy like other retinyls. It's too soon to see any decrease in wrinkles, so far it's been easy to add into my nightly face cleaning routine.

Absorbs quickly

Absolutely gentle and comfortable formula!  I love the ways this feels going on. I can even use it straight on my skin without a buffer serum.  I know it's working because I did have some slight purging the first couple weeks using it.  I now use it about 2 x a week specifically for acne, acne scars and fine lines. :)

Gentle and great for my pores!

When I bought this I thought that "retinyl" was just a clever way to name a product with retinol. As it turns out it is actually a a synthetic form of vitamin A that's used in many skincare products even though it is not deemed to be actually effective. 

Additionally, it has an unpleasant odor.

For both these reasons I won't be buying it again.

There is too much plastic in the packaging. More packaging than product. The product is great, but there is so much waste. Everything looks really pretty, but the environment.
