I love my new Honeywell Wi-Fi Smart Thermostat! It is sleek and modern. I can change the temperature or system (heat or A/C) from my phone. I can also set up a schedule from my phone. With living in Arkansas you just never know the weather; so it is nice to be able to change the settings from work.
I almost purchased the Nest, but then saw this thermostat. I am very happy I went with this one instead.

Awesome product at a fantastic price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is overall a great product. The install was a bit cumbersome as there are multiple ways you could wire up your C-Wire; if you don't have one, and its not exactly clear which you should do but all of them will work. As for the user interface, I think it is very simple to use and the mobile interface (My Total Comfort) works great. The only downside is my thermostat has spotty WiFi connectivity. I read up on what it could be and again there is a multitude of potential issues and I've tried to troubleshoot but I have yet to find out why the wifi works 50% of the time but not the other 50%. Overall great product.

Great Product but Spotty WiFi Connectivity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally hooked up the wired configuration with AUX, O wires as I didn't have a W wire. I programmed the unit to "forced air" as I had done with a unit I had just installed in our main house that was working well. When I entered the room (in a casita) the next morning, the temp was 114. I went back through the manual and this configuration, containing a O and an AUX wire, is described for a "heat pump" system which I guess my casita is on. I reprogrammed it for "heat pump" and all is good. There is nothing about this in the "Quick Start" guide. The oil/gas vs electric prompt is also a little confusing on the initial setup. Yes, it works with Alexa, but it is tricky to get there and takes a little time.

I Would Buy This Product Again

This is a great product. Easy to install and connect. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I thought it learned our trends and adapted according, but it only does what it is told to do.

Yes I would buy it again if what advertised is real.

I installed this product as per the manual. When attaching the wires, I used a pen as per the instructions to release the wire clamps and plug in wires. One of the clamps broke with little pressure applied. I asked Honeywell to replace the back panel only with the wire clamps. They refused to do so ... in fact, they would not even replace the whole unit... they said that I had to buy a new unit.

Honeywell support for this product is poor
