I purchased this humidifier because of static. It's very quite. Puts out a good amount of steam. My hair no longer clings to my face in the morning when I brush it. Being winter time, it also warms up the room a bit. It is very easy to clean and remove parts.  I have extremely hard water,  which it built up on the inside of pump area, vinegar dissolves it fast. Definitely a good deal.

The product is very good and easy to use but I have one problem. On the sale site they offered a extended warrantee $5 for 2 years so I thought that was not a bad deal so I took it.  I get the humidifier delivered and I am reading the instructions and what do I see? The unit comes with a 3-year warrantee from Honeywell, so I got screwed by  Wal-Mart out of $5.

Good product, buyer beware.

I like this unit which I`ve had for a week, I use distilled water and not tap water, but the use of distilled water should eliminate any lime build up from using tap water.

Honeywell Humidifier

I've been really happy with this Honeywell humidifier. It's easy to set up, simple to adjust, and it makes a noticeable difference in dryness—especially overnight. It runs quietly enough that it doesn't disturb sleep, and the tank is straightforward to refill and clean. After a few days, my room felt more comfortable and I woke up with less dry throat and congestion. Overall, it's a solid, reliable humidifier that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Easy setup, Simple to use with Great Results

Although this one is bigger than I anticipated, I still like it.  Had I known how large it was, I would have chosen the 1 gallon size  instead.  That's the only negative thing about this.  Other than that, it runs quietly, the mist is fine, and it seems like it will be easier to clean than many of the others out there.

Nice product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier best suits my needs. I've tried many other humidifiers through the years. I love the warm air mist. It helps me feel warmer in my home which I keep at 68 degrees in the winter. This is the 2nd Honeywell 1.5 gal. ********* sq ft Filter Free Warm Mist Humidifier with Essential Oil Cup that I have purchased.

It lasts about a day with a full tank on low which is great, but I just give it a gallon every morning and let it run to empty because having it run 24/7 was actually TOO much humidity for my 700ish square foot apartment, so it performs above itself. The one thing I wish was easier was cleaning the inside, I follow the instructions and there's still sometimes some grime in hard to scrub places.

Overall I like this unit. I purchased this since we have very hard water here, I need to clean the unit every time I put in more water. The way the unit is designed, it is easy to pour in some CLR and dilute it. 
The one problem I see is the floater. Once or twice the water was not properly going into the area with the heating unit. I resolved the issue to the floater; it seems very picky. Last night I noticed there was almost no water in the heating area, so I turned the unit off. A minute later I heard a bang and thought the unit was toast, but it is still working.

Recommend but with reservations

I don't like the fact there isn't a separate removable water tank. I have hard water and it seems like it'll be very difficult to clean the heating element since the unit doesn't come apart and you have to reach down inside the unit to brush it. It's not very user friendly at all when it comes to cleaning and filling this unit.

Not user friendly, not easy to maintain

The day i bought this, i filled the water, poured essential oil in correct spot. Worked for about 1day.  Now, anytime i put it on, within minutes the red light cones on %26 nothing happens.  I've cleaned it, shut off/on multiple times...still nothing.

STOPPED WORKING!!
