I love this machine! Easy assembly. User friendly in all ways. Lightweight which is a plus. Good suction. I had to refill the water/cleaning solution x3 to clean my living room carpet but it super easy to detach and fill. It picked up loads of cat hair despite vacuuming prior to shampooing! I am available happy customer!

This worked great on my friends hallway carpet, she no longer has to have the carpet replaced. Of course I forgot to get a picture of it completed. But these are the before and partway done pictures. Very impressed with how amazing this worked. I only wish I had opted for the one with the upholstery attachments. Thank you Hoover!

Happy with this carpet cleaner. Love that it is very light and compact. I don't mind having to fill the water tank several times. It's usually the heavy carpet cleaners that tires me out and hurts my backs. This one is just right for me. I have had this carpet cleaner for over two years now, and still working great.

Love that it is light and compact

Still giving it 5 stars, though we had to tape the handle on to get it to stay.  It's a perfect solution for keeping our bedroom carpet clean.  It removed the residue and re-staining left after a professional carpet clean.  We prefer to use it with Folex carpet cleaner solution - 1 part to 4 parts of water.  We did multiple passes to suction up the solution and the low pile carpet dried in about 4 hours on a humid day.

Just right for our small apartment

I am very satisfied with my new Hoover carpet cleaner, especially at that low price. The feature I like the most is the suction; it doesn't take too long for the carpet to dry. It is light and easy to use.

I can't believe the amount of dirt this machine pulled out of my carpet!  It was easy to fill and use.  Make sure to read the instructions on how to disconnect the dirty water conditioner to dump the water out.  
Would definitely recommend this rug cleaner…my rug looks brand new!

The cleaning power is good. The size and weight are good. It does a nice job for small areas 
Unfortunately this machine is made for pets. And the ability to clean the machine is poor. You can't clean the rotating blades, the shield over them as well the piece that draws out the liquid. Leaving it disgusting! This is very distracting you can't properly clean it. As well with the tank there is a small neck piece that came off. There is no way to fix it. As you can't get in the tank. And the same thing with the tank. It's difficult to get cleaned out really well.

Good & Bad

This is a compact carpet cleaner that did a reasonably good job at cleaning the rugs. We have black and white chevron thick wool rugs. The one annoying thing was that thick chunks of black wool kept getting stick in the rollers and then coming off on the white areas of the rugs, discoloring them somewhat. Not bad for the price.

Not bad for the price

We really love this machine. It's rather easy to use and it does a great job of getting the carpets clean. One minor issue we have, as others have noted, is that liquid does tend to leak from the reservoir that holds the clean water & detergent. We attempted to mitigate this issue by making sure the reservoir in firmly in place after re-installing it, and that seems to have helped, although not completely. Otherwise, we feel its a terrific carpet cleaning machine.

Great Deep Cleaning Carpet Machine

This machine cleaned my carpet well. I have a white carpet in a bedroom, and I was leary that a small carpet shampooer would get the job done. I am very pleased with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my power dash pet + compact twice and the roller brush cover broke when I was using it and there is no replacement part, need a new item. What a waste of a cleaner that could be a simple fix.
