Having used bossier for years I thought it was time to change brands. The Hoover is quieter, it dries your rug as you draw the water in, I found it a lot easier to clean weight wise it is a lot lighter then the bissel. So far there are no cons.

Best ever

This little thing has saved me with having two puppies, and it cleans carpet spots so much better than my standup shampooer. We'll see how it holds up over time, but so far it's been absolutely amazing.

After buying and returning 3 other carpet cleaners. I finally found a good one with Hoover! The power scrub xl does very well at removing stubborn carpet stains to cleaning up after a pet!

Better then expected

Amazing carpet cleaner.  Got out all the stubborn stains with no problem.  Sucks up all the water so minimal time needed to dry carpets.  As a clean freak with OCD is absolutely suggest getting this carpet cleaner.

Amazing Job

Our adult cat had big feelings about new animal additions to the house and let us know via urinating ALL OVER the house. Once he started we couldn’t keep up with spot cleaning and he kept going back because we couldn’t get it all. After confining him to our oversized laundry room for awhile we worked on carpet cleaning parts of the house we planned to give him access to. I was super impressed with stain removal, ease of use, the light weight, and the ease of cleaning the machine after use. We cleaned the carpets with a rental when we moved in 2.5 years ago but nothing in between so it was much needed anyways, pick up SO MUCH grime - I’m excited for regular carpet shampoo schedule one the whole house is reset!

I just completed cleaning all of the carpets and area rugs in my house. This is my second Hoover shampooer. The last one died after over 20 years of faithful service. I’m happy to see some of the improvements made over the years: the solution is no longer added to the “clean water” and the clean water and dirty water tanks are the same size…less starts by and stopping. It’s also lighter.

Great carpet cleaner with nice improvements

This is a replacement for our 15-year-old Hoover carpet and floor cleaner. The old model worked wonderfully for us, so we bought a new one when the old one had to be replaced. Since we bought the house 7 years ago, we have had several professional companies clean the 2 carpets in 2 of the bedrooms. There were always stains left where a person walked in the door and went to the bathroom or closet. The first time I used the cleaner, using the Hoover product provided, the stains were almost gone. We will be purchasing the HOOVER® Prime Professional Cleaning Formula to try to eliminate the rest of the stains. WE are confident it will take out most of it.

We love our new machine!

Better than I thought it would be! We love it.  Use it daily with kids and dogs.

Powerscrub XL Pet

Not for anything pet related, didn’t clean fresh accidents. Totally disappointed. Not sure what the point of this carpet cleaner is.
