I love this vacuum.  The extension hose is actually flexible and long enough to reach my ceilings (8.5 ft). The autoshut off of the brush is great when in upright position.  The fact the brush shuts off means very little scatters on the hardwood floors.  Only down side is the body is top heavy for my kids to use on carpet but the swivel allows for easier movement on tile and hardwood floors.  Also used our old vac on carpet 1 day before getting the new one and the amout of dog hair and dust pickup was disgusting and amazing.  So glad I shopped around and found this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I still have the Hoover Windtunnel We bought 15 years ago. Thought it was time for an upgrade. Lighter and easier to handle and I love the swivel base. The performance is fantastic and a lot less work.

Awesome performance

Works great on pet hair so far! I'd previously owned two different Hoover vacuum cleaners that are very similar, but this one does work better on pet hair so far!

Works great on pet hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vacuum is very powerful, but using the wand is a little difficult. The hose is too short to manuver around the room easily, and the handle makes the wand quite bulky and heavy to use. Also, the crevise tool attachment that came with the vacuum is too short and not worth using. I have tried to purchase additional attachments, but the ones I want have been out of stock for a couple of months now.

Decent Vacuum

Too top heavy but it does do a good job of picking up the pet hair. Like the wand it's the best part.

Hoover Vacuum Review

This vacuum has a black, sticky plug that covers the bottom of the tube inside the canister where you go to empty it out. It is non removable, and clogs up after the first couple of times of vacuuming. It makes it so that the suction is very poor. It's completely ridiculous that Hoover made a vacuum that has this non removable stopper on it.

Would not buy again. It's a total waste of money!!

I bought this vacuum August 5th. It was a fantastic product until November when the handle broke and would not stay clipped in place. Then the second week of November the vacuum began overheating and will not stay on despite no obstruction and a clean filter. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this product.

Do not buy

We have owned the vacuum for about 3-4 weeks, used it 3-4 times, and there are 2 rivets that hold the handle together which broke. The vacuum didn't drop or anything, it was just from normal use.
