I read all the reviews when I compare new equipment. I saw a lot of complainants with Whole House Hoover Vacuum. The problem is people read and follow the clear directions. Every problem I saw in the reviews could have been avoided if they would READ THE MANUAL & INSTRUCTIONS! Hoover is still a good name... People just need to read. Thank you Hoover

Unbelievable, I vacuumed with my (NOW FREE TO ANY HOME) Bissell then vacuumed with my new whole house unit and I couldn't believe the amount of dirt this new unit picked up. I am very impressed and I'm in the process of ordering the Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner Machine, Upright Shampooer, FH50150 at this moment...Outstanding Product!

We looked at a lot of different ones and was excited when we found this one. The upgrades and features are reallyyyyy nice. My husband loves to vacuum and he's used every feature it had. Very powerful and cleans very well.

Love it!

I've had my vacuum for 3 years. I have 2 dogs who shed like crazy and this vacuum does the job! Very durable as well (it has fallen down the stairs, oops!) The only thing that messed up was the automatic shut off for the brush at the bottom when you have the vacuum in the locked upright position. I just have to manually push the lever down with my foot. I love how you can rinse the filter out and reuse it, and when needed, you can easily buy replacement filters when the one you have gets worn from so much use. Highly recommend!!

Love, Love, Love!

This vacuum was a gift From. It has been frequently used with no problems until last week when it just cut off. I followed instru ctions and called the help line. They were so patient and helpful to me a 69 year old technical idiot. I was able with the agents guidance to get my vacuum working efficiently. I love Hoover. I recently had a product problem with Samsun that has turned I to a purchasing nightmare. Hoover stands by their products and other manufacturers should take Hoover's lead.

Hoover Rocks!

This vacuum seems to do the job well. I haven't used it myself but my employees say it picks up great, however it's considerably louder than the last vacuum we had. I had no problems finding the correct belt online, but the agitator brush roll #48414-113 I have yet to find. I don't need it yet, but since I am ordering belts I thought I would go ahead and order a brush roll to have on hand.

Seems to do the job well

I purchased this unit sometime in august of 2020. the belt broke as of DEC 2020. i cant see how the belt would break so fast, inspecting the belt shows a break point with a roughness as if it was burned away. this can only happen if belt was stuck or jammed causing friction on one location by motor shaft motion causing belt to break. i expected better engineering design for the price.

The machine itself works well, the tools are terrible. They are all plastic and the wand never stays extended. My suggestion? Forget focus groups, they only want the money at the end of the meeting. I assume all the execs have cleaning people coming to their houses, why not have them give an honest review of Hoover products?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had 3 very similar models. I called spoke to several people who recommended this one. It is EXTREMELY heavy and bulky. I am exhausted after 1 room. The extension pole will not stay locked and constantly retracts and pinches your finger. Pretty much hate it.
