Installation instructions were clear and accurate. Once installed, the heavy tailgate on my F150 was much, much easier to lift. Worked exactly as advertised.

Had one on my last truck and loved it. Just got another one.

we wish that information had been more clear
we put this on out truck and bent tne bottom of the tailgate. this truck has a much lighter tailgate than our previous truck ( on that one we loved this product.) NOT so on this one. So we took it out redrilled the holes and plugged them. $ down the drain because we used it so no getting our $ back

not so pleased

Requires removing the tailgate.
