This is very cute and I wish I'd gotten this the first go around. We git a character potty seat that's just the ring that fits inside the big toilet seat and it had a weird plastic lip that cut into her backside and a generic potty chair that was hard plastic with a removable bowl that also hurt her bottom if she sat on it for any length of time. I mean that's the method that's worked for her is sitting until she went, that's how she wanted to do it and it took over a year for her to develop the vocabulary to tell me why she wouldn't potty train and it was bc the other seats were uncomfortable. She got this potty seat and ladder 2 weeks ago and she's already going in the potty more than she's having accidents. It's so recommended... We've both been suffering through potty training but she didn't know how to tell me and I didn't want to tell her obviously. To make a long story a bit longer. Yes. Get this one. It's twice as much as the cheapest seat, but it's cheaper than buying three potties and therapy.

High quality. Comfy for my granddaughter. I bought one to copy what my son and daughter-in-law have in their home…and what their babysitter got too… for when my granddaughter visits. I just put it in the shower and rinse it off each day used. Very happy with this.

We're a three Hopscotch Lane potty chair family.

This thing is so nice. My cousin referred it to me, after he had his daughter fully potty trained by 2! Just using this and taking your little potty with you anytime you go! It's much better than a potty chair that can be in the living room or anywhere because it actually teaches the child to go to the BATHROOM to potty. My son seems more confident and happy to be using the “big potty” 
Super easy to put together, super easy to store, if you are potty training skip the little potty chairs and go straight for this!

This potty is just what my daughter needed. She is 3 and late to potty training. So I  decided to try another potty maybe one with lights and flushing sounds. So glad I didn't . In just a few days she has made so much progress. The fact that my daughter  was familiar with a kids ladder made it easy. She knew exactly what to do. Now all she ever says is I want to use the big potty. This potty sits on the actual toliet seat so it's almost like using the toilet. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the actual instruction sheet is not the best and makes it confusing.

Great for late potty training

Overall a great idea and a great product but there are a few things about it I'm not liking. It's just a tad short for my toilet so the stairs kinda lean a little bit, it's still completely functional but my son is having trouble getting up. And the splash guard just causing the pee the splash back onto him. He also managed to pee on the seat each time he potties. It could just be how he's sitting but if you have a boy be prepared for that. Put a towel down too because he's managed to get pee down the sides, on the steps, and in the floor.

Boy parents beware.

It is the perfect height for our toilet. Being plastic it is a bit flopsy but can withstand being pounced into by a toddler while attached to the toilet. The cushioned seat is a good quality and removable. It does not stay in place as well as I would like but I don't know if a strap would fix it or redesign of the seat. I would buy again for the price.

Worth the price

It's a PITA to assemble, which is why I knocked a star off. I had to have someone with verrrry strong hands help me with the first part, and the last bolt is tricky. But it works well, fits on the toilet nicely, is very comfortable and relatively sturdy. Potty training a 40lb 3yo is much easier with this. Oh also it's very easy to clean, just bleach wipe and go!

Potty training godsend!

For something so simple to put together I had such a hard time because of the plastic screws.  They would not securely fit when attaching the seat to the legs and in the process one of the screws broke in half along with tearing up the middle of the head of the screw. I'm sure it is good when the holes are drilled out properly but unfortunately it didn't work out for me.

Short in height, specially when using an elongated toilet bowl. Our toilet isnt extra tall or anything and its still about 1.5-2inches too short. Defeats the whole purpose when it is too short.

I will start by saying all of the good reviews are promo as it says! I'm upset I didn't pay closer attention before purchasing this smh this pot is completely unsafe and not sturdy! DONOT let your toddler climb up on this by their self they will fall! Do not BUY!!! TRASH CHEAP AND WASTE OF MONEY WILL BE RETURNING!
