The mat could have been larger.  But that is on me for not measuring twice.  I am not sure about the fit etc. as we are just now opening our pool for the summer.  We have an above ground pool and we have ordered a different ladder configuration.  The mat should be good as it is the same quality/company we had previously.

The 2' X 3' size is just right for my ladder, stays in place, and is of heavy weight/ ribbed rubber that is light blue on one side and black on the other. Well worth buying ( LOTS cheaper than a new liner)!

Thought it was going to be thin, but worked perfectly well under our steps.

There is nothing wrong with this product, unless it proves to be too thin to do the job. Only time and use will tell. However, it is way too pricey, considering how thin it is and its size.

Great!

Well where to begin?  This was one of the most difficult items that we have ever placed together. The instructions were very vague on the assembly. However, I recommend using a highlighter and highlight every sentence one step at a time. The steps were the most difficult. Use a hairdryer and Dish soap to place on the knobby ends. This will provide a much easier install. After assembling the ladder. The product is strong and reliable. We purchased a above ground swimming pool and the instructions were 2nd to none. It was great having a DVD to pause and return to an area that needed attention. This ladder was next to impossible when assembling the steps.  I was going to return the product until my wife had the idea of using dish soap to provide a easier fit on the steps. She was right ! They need to provide a DVD for the customer. After the install we went out for a steak dinner to celebrate .
