I gave this to my friend's teenager son and he had so much fun playing it. As how the advertisement shows, this Hot Wheels Ballistik Racer vehicle is a super fast remote control vehicle that really CARVES UP the road. Compared to other similar Hot Wheel vehicle in the market, I was very amazed to see how fast it runs as well as able to do the 180 degree spin.  In addition, it comes with rechargeable system, which I can also charge it instead of using batteries. I am definitely very happy with the purchase, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I received this price at a discounted price for my unbiased review.

I have two boys and both love playing remote racers.  When I brought back home this Hot Wheels Ballistik Racer Vehicle, both of them were fighting for playing first.  Ended up they had a deal to play together.  One of the very good features is it has the new Super Speed Battery which charges the vehicle 11x faster than the other RC in the market, or fully recharge in only 30 minutes that allowed my boys could still play it in our front yard at that evening before the Sun set.  And the rechargeable battery also saved me money from buying a lot of batteries.
 
Like what the advertising says, this Racer is a super-fast remote control vehicle that really carves up the road.  It goes very fast even on the uneven surfaces.  My younger boy didn't have a good handling on it but my teenaged boy did some of those special stunts like the instant Pivot Turn and the 180° Spin!  They did have a lot of fun with it.

Super Fast Remote Racer Vehicle

I purchased this good looking racer at our company event. The appearance of this racer is very attractive as it is so colorful. I played with it outdoor and I had a lot of fun when I tried its different features. Its off-road capabilities is the most impressive one for me. With that feature, it can run non-stop at a very high speed. The remote control is very responsive and easy to use. Also, this racer comes with Super Speed Battery System that allows quick battery recharge (less than 30 mins).  This is a big plus for me when I don't need to spend money on battery and there is a quick process for battery recharge. I would definitely recommend it. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Fun Racer

This is a great RC toy especially for boys that wants to take their RC racing skills to the next level.  Wheels are durable and brightly colored.  Its all purpose drive can take on any terrain.  The controls are intuitive and easy to use to maneuver the toy.  There are pre-programmed combo you can perform on the controller to do all the special tricks.  It's great that it also charge very quickly and ready to go again!  I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Versatile and fun RC toy!!

This racer is cool and fascinating for my kids and easy enough for a 6 year old to feel it and race it. Definitely it takes lil older kids to do all the stunts that are possible with the toy.  It moves with good speed even on uneven surfaces  in the back yard and you don't have to wait too long to charge which is a big win for this toy.  Me and my son are impressed at the speed of this racer and i feel it takes lil more practice to try the spin and other stunts.  Remote has many options which can be overwhelming for small kids.

Intriguing racer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy was like a magnet for all of the neighborhood kids!  It is by far the neatest remote control car we have owned!  I was impressed with how well it rolls on the grass, it doesn't get stuck in divots often, but when it does my son figured out you just have to do one of the rolling stunts and it can be on it's way again.  

I set the stop watch on my phone to test their “charged in 30 minutes claim”, it was accurate!  The initial charge took approximately 35 minutes.  However, what I was not prepared for was the battery life while in use, it also only last about 30 minutes!  I was shocked when my son came in and said it was dead.  I did the troubleshooting tips thinking for sure that wasn't the problem already, but none helped and sure enough it was good as new once charged again.  

My son loves the car, how fast it goes and the tricks it can do.  It is definitely worth buying, but I wish it had a lot longer battery life while in use!  If they could improve the battery life, this would be the perfect remote control car!

Envy of the neighborhood!

I bought this for my son for Christmas; one of his big gifts.  He played with it for about 20 minutes and then the back wheel started to make a loud sound and it no longer spun.  I originally bought the toy from Walmart, my son still really liked the toy so i decided to exchange it for another.  Walmart willingly did the exchange.  I took the new one home.  My son opened the new one, charged it and then went outside to play with it.  It was working great; he was out there for about 30 minutes. I put it back on the charger.  Later in the day he wanted to play with it again, so he took it out and then it started to make a loud noise again, but this time the back wheel still spun but it moved very slow.  And it was fully charged, so it can't be that.   I'm taking the item back tomorrow for a refund.  This is disappointing that this happened not once but twice, because this is a really cool toy that my son enjoyed.

a little disappointed

I bought this for my son as a birthday gift. He loved it.
Sadly he used in one time...but since it can't go in the wet weather we have not been able to use it again until today....and today on its second use it broke. The rear gear just made a horrible sound and wouldn't go any further...very disappointing. Especially since I purchased it 4 months ago I can't return it.

Should be no stars

I bought this for my son for Christmas and the second one time out using it, it just stopped working. Sounds to me like the gears are stripped or something.  It makes a loud noise but will not move. My son is very dissapointed and sad as he loved it. The concept is great and very fun just not very robust.

Disappointed

Gearbox broke within 15 minutes just like a bunch of other reviews said. Now it's useless and we don't have the box to return it.  Stay away from this.
