They immediately got to work putting it together and then played for a couple hours off and on during the day, even having their cousins come over to play with it. They were enthralled by the giant gorilla and how he reacts to trucks hitting him and they giggled at his underwear. The monster truck that the set came with was different from ones they've seen before and they immediately argued over who got to use it. This is a great addition to other monster truck sets that they have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Toy was tested by both my 7 and 5 year old- both were able to play at the same time which made it a fun toy for them to play together, definitely nice that it came with one monster truck. They liked and thought it was funny that when the monster got hit they saw he had little hearts on his underwear. Only thing as the parent, it definitely needed my attention and time to put together, not something smaller kids could do. Wasn't a big fan of having to put the stickers on also, takes a steady hand which could be difficult for some to do.

It is a little hard to get the monster tuck to hit the Gorilla but they eventually get it. They think it's so funny how he crashes into the audience. The best part for them is the details of the gorilla underwear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not your typical hot wheel track set. You have to launch the cars into the tire that the big monster is holding using the catapult.  It wasn't difficult building it, adults need to snap the pieces together for little ones without finger strength.  It kept my boy entertained for hours during the lazy hot summer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car/truck set is very different.  My son loves to try and defeat the monster by launching trucks at it.  It is larger than expected and doesn't really break down easily, but that is not an issue for him as he keeps it assembled in his room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was definitely a hit in my house, and continues to be!  Nothing captures my 6-year-old's attention for too long, but this sure has.  Assembly was not difficult; however, placement of the stickers properly was a bit tedious (especially since we couldn't wait to get started playing with it)!  Construction has held up to times of his rough play (crashing the trucks, etc.).  All in all, this has earned a top rating in our house, both from a child's and parents' perspective.  Definitely would recommend!

best obe yet for little hot wheel lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena Smashers™ Mega-Wrex vs. Crushzilla Takedown™ was a huge hit with my sons. My 5 year old in particular. It took us about 35 minutes to put together. We had to figure out some of the many ways you can play with this set, it can be difficult for my 5 year old in some ways but my 8 and 9 year old sons were easily able to figure out how to use it in every way possible. The stadium can go down in the back after being hit, which my 5 year old thought meant it broke. But, the overall layout makes it easier to "make believe" than to accomplish some of the physical aspects of design. My sons were able to stack hotwheels cars on the back stadium seating and had fun launching the monster trucks from side to side. Unfortunately the monster trucks were too big. Also when it came to the truck going to his mouth, the mouth isnt big enough so it bounces off. I definitely feel like the product is fun and enjoyable, however I do think there is more to be desired. The idea is great, the look is awesome the humor in the bottom is funny, but the execution I think needs a little more. I wouldnt agree with ages 4 and up although I wanna say ages 4 to 6 is when monster trucks are most popular. Not that a 4 year old would be in danger at all, I just feel it would be a harder use for a 4 year old. Ages 5 and up may be more appropriate. My 5 year old son seemed to struggle to use it the way it was intended and didnt understand why he couldnt put the monster truck in the Crushzilla mouth. Not being able to get a truck through the top by flinging it from the side. The ramp in the front doesn't really lead to anything, so you really just knock into him. But all and all he loved playing with it. My 8 and 9 year old enjoyed playing with it with him for a short time. They all thought it was cool and funny.

It is made with good quality but it took some time to put together.  The kids had a hard time figuring out what the trucks were supposed to do and how to play with it.  It did not keep there attention for long because they were frustrated with it.

Maybe he is too young for the Arena Smashers line but I didnt think it was really that great either. There are no battery operated parts which is nice but it really leaves a lot to the imagination. It took a lot of time to launch the cars to "takedown Crushzilla", I felt the product was boring and didnt keep my son's interest.
