[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this to review. This kept two boys, ages 5 & 7 very entertained for some time. They loved adding to yo their existing hot wheels track. It's rare something keep them both engaged for so long. It was easy for them to use too which is a big bonus to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first word out of my son's mouth when he saw the Hot Wheels Toxic Ape Attack playset was: AWESOME!!! Very easy to set up and great vibrant colors, we gathered all of my son's Hot Wheels cars and had lots of fun trying to make them go past the ape without getting attacked. Definitely a hit at our house, keeps my son engaged and entertained for a while especially when dad joins in to play. I'd recommend this for anyone who likes to play with and build Hot Wheels playsets.

Endless fun

Another Great Hot Wheels Add On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was very excited when he saw that he had a new Hot Wheels playset. No batteries are needed for this toy so it can be played with right out of the box. As far as the instructions they were a little confusing to us. The track was hard to move over at the beginning but easier as it was played with multiple times. My son loves the bright colors to the track and ape. We are still unsure if the ape is suppose to catch the car at any point or you just place the car in the hand? Both of my younger kiddos like playing with this set and think its great that it can connect to some of their other Hot Wheels City sets making it even more fun!

Build a City

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gorilla theme is very cool and excited my son. Luckily we already had pieces that would connect to this otherwise you wouldn't be able to use it alone. Would be better if it came with some track pices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son really enjoyed playing with this at first.  It is a little tricky to get it to work like it is supposed to. He didn't seem interested in it for long, but it was fine to play with and figure out.

Fun idea!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this toy.  It's colorful and my son has a lot of fun with it.  Unfortunately the only feature that consistently works is the secret track which you lift up to avoid the ape entirely.  There is also a major safety issue with the push lever where the child's finger can get stuck and pretty badly pinched.  It happened to us.  So sadly I have to give it 2 stars.  And that's only because my son adores it even though it doesn't really work.
