I got this racetrack set for my 7 year old son for Christmas...I thought it looked cool on the website so I got it. It was fantastic! The set up seemed a little confusing and tricky, but after I finally followed the directions (!), it was a breeze. I had my doubts about the Command strips being strong enough to hold it up, but they did. The only issue I had was when it came time to take it off the wall...one of the Command strips didn't behave like it should have (and I did follow directions this time) and I lost a dime-sized chunk of paint/drywall paper. But what a fantastic piece of design! And the kids liked it, too!

Just what the nephew wanted for Xmas

I was impressed with the design. I was disappointed in how loud it is when running. You really need a playroom to set up on a wall. The other disappointment was the cars are getting stuck or jammed up alot. The good point is my grandson loves it. We went and purchased 3 more cars which makes it that much more fun. Good job hot wheels.

Exciting for my 5 yr old grandson

He wanted to put it together at once. Only downside: I gave a gift that had to be installed at home! Therefore, he didn't have any gift from Nana to play with while they were visiting! But, I was happy that he could play with it at home!

I was a bit skeptical but this thing is pretty cool. My only hang up is trying to find the space on a wall to hang it up.

it really works

We assembled and mounted this exactly as instructed (instructions and mounting template are great!) but the timing is slightly off with the rotating pieces. The cars rarely make the jump in the middle. Most times they fall and jam the arm if you don't get it out immediately.

A little frustrating

A good creatively engineered Toy

Pros:

Kids gets attracted with the arm grabbing and moving the car around
easy to assemble

Cons:

The upper arm that moves around falls of quickly and needs to be put in place.
The glue strip are not strong enough to hold the toy on the wall. Need to use your good quality strips to hold in place
The cars gets stuck due to space constraint when moving around by the arm ( this happens when the glue strip grip fades away and the space gets reduced)

Bought this on sale. Great wall track for the price. A bit noisy but bearable. We have found out that only very few hot wheels or other brand cars work on this track so if you loose the car that comes with it good luck! Also the elastic type clear rubber band that holds the small claw that flies off once in a while (it's suppose to) broke and a regular elastic band doesn't quite work. Not sure where to get a new one, will check with the manufacturer. But other than that a great toy for a child that likes cars and tracks, and one less toy for mom to pick up off the floor cause it's attached to the wall.

Good for the price!

This track set is a nightmare. Had to mount it on a sheet of plywood. Basically it is a piece of art. One day it may work correctly after I tweak all the mistakes in it's design.
