This parallel clothesline dryer is an excellent choice for anyone looking to dry large amounts of laundry outside. The dryer has a full 182 feet of clothesline space allowing you to dry multiple loads of laundry and/or large and bulky items with ease. The top rotates to give you convenient and easy access to any side of the dryer while loading or unloading it. The dryer consists of the no-rust galvanized steel umbrella top and connecting two-piece center post. The dryers top comes pre-strung and rests on the post and can be extended or collapsed for slim storage. The post rests in a ground sleeve (included) that is cemented in the ground and the umbrella top rests on the post giving the dryer outstanding stability while also allowing it to be easily disassembled in times of inclement weather or just when you need to utilize your full yard space. To install ground sleeve: 1. Dig a hole 8-12 inches in diameter and 20 inches deep. The hole should be wider at the bottom than at the top. 2. Fill the hole with about 3 inches of small rocks then pour about 6 inches of concrete into the hole (or until concrete comes to the bottom of the ground sleeve when held flush with the ground). 3. Holding the sleeve in place finish filling the hole with concrete (you may leave a small gap to fill in with dirt and grass if you wish). 4. Immediately run a stick or tube through the sleeve and through the concrete to the rock base to allow water to drain. 5. Insert the lower vertical pole of the dryer into the sleeve then use a level to align the pole vertically. 6. Remove pole and allow concrete to set fully then install your dryer.

IF YOU ARE USING THE EXISTING BASE ... please be advised... if you reuse it - it will raise your clothesline up to 10 feet! HAHAHAHAHAHA!  The original base was for a solid steel 1960 CLOTHES LINE!  The Hurricanes damaged the one I had been using for years - thanks, no thanks to Hurricane Milton!  All I will need to do is re-establish the original base.  No big deal! Just got to dig a hole and bury it deeper!  

This clothesline is MIDDLE sized - the 1960 one was an extra-large size, so it is  SMALLER than the original one - but of course, I do not have children anymore, just grandchildren. It's perfect sized for a Family of 2- 3.  The Larger size would be good for a family of 4-5 and the Extra Large Size would be perfect for a family of 5 and up.  The Small size would be great for those residing in Trailer Parks (if permitted) or a Condo with a backyard (if also permitted).

The LINES are nicely spaced to allow Solar / Sun  %26 Wind Power Drying!

Very Easy to install and Easy in taking down.  It's really simple on the ease of use.  Remember, you WILL always have to "re-tighten" the lines - they will stretch out after several uses. Overall, the lifespan lasts forever!

I just absolutely love my new clothes line. It is very sturdy, and I have lots of room for several loads of laundry. Great product for the price. Highly recommended

It's so easy--no assembly, just take it out of the box, untie the cords holding it together, and open like an umbrella. The ground in my yard is very hard, so rather than dig a hole, I used a 5-gallon bucket. Mixed a bag of cement with water, stuck the plastic ground sleeve in it (make sure to level as instructed) and let it harden. That also makes it mobile in case I need to move it to another location in my yard. Note that this will make the clothesline taller! I'm 5'3" and could still reach the lines, so if you are shorter, check this first!

Love everything about this clothesline!

Every year when the warm weather rolls around I feel guilty about using my clothes dryer. So here's my solution. This baby is wonderful. Holds more than 4 loads of clothes/sheets/etc. The fitting allows it to be removed from the anchor in the ground, in order to mow the lawn. It's the best investment I've made in some time.

Let's go GREEN this summer.

I have a few rentals and some of my renters wanted to save me money by using these clothes lines rather than electric dryers. I'm all for that and got this unit from Walmart. Everything went well from my online order to picking it up at the store. Sure made things easy and saved me a lot of time.

Outdoor dryer

The wires are not very sturdy. When you close it, be sure to bundle the wires together like they were before first opened or you will have a tangled mess. I used an umbrella base instead of mounting in ground as I saw another buyer mention. Had to cut a foot off pole so I could reach to hang clothes. That works well. My base is 30 pounds. . I do not leave outside since that was not recommended.

Clothesline dryer

Don't have it set up yet. Have been busy. I got another a couple years ago and just love it. Unfortunately that broke so bought another one. Can't wait to get it set up.

Umbrella clothes line.

While this is a well made unit using high quality materials it has a few shortcomings. The clothesline itself is protected with a plastic coating to preserve it from weather...but it is too thin. Spring clip clothespins are designed for use on a clothes line rope about 1/4 inch thick. This line is barely 1/8" making it difficult to keep your clothes on the line. The other area of concern is the actual arrangement of the lines. If you have ever used a traditional clothes reel in the past you were able to hang clothes on four sides. With this unit the lines run in only one direction...across....so you can only hang on two sides. Far too many lines as well, too close together, making it difficult to use the multiple lines.

Nicely made...but!

I purchased the identical product 4 years ago.  The wind this fall destroyed a cast aluminum piece that was a major piece to hold it together.  I bought this one that appeared to be identical.  Made by the same company and the piece that broke on my other one, on the new one is made of plastic.  I hope this will hold up at least as long.  I had just restrung my old one before the winter season and the new lines are so thin, not sure they will not snap.

The Construction on the new product:

Seems haphazardly put together with half the lines unsecured. Also the pole doesn't fit securely in the base provided causing it to tilt and wobble. The first one we bought lasted decades. Can't imagine this shabbily made product will
