This is a good grade product which is required for treating a wooden cutting board.

I have a large and thick wooden cutting board that was very dried out and in dire need of conditioning.

The thickness of the board is a determining factor for how many treatments are needed for a thorough conditioning of it.

My board is approximately 2” thick and I treated it four times and allowed approximately 24 hours between each treatment.

It turned out great. Even though my board is large and thick, I still have approximately 80% or more of this product left.

Walmart also sells a board wax frim this same company and I am thinking about buying it also.

If one has an expensive cutting board one should keep it oiled!  So for close to twenty years I have done that.  And you know what it still looks like new!  My favorite oil is Howard BBB012.  I was so glad to see that it was available through Walmart.  Just put a small amount on a paper towel and then wipe on cutting board.  Simple but so effective!  Tips from Theresa.

Cutting board care

I use this on my cutting board surfaced island and other cutting board. It's easy to apply and works well and keeps everything looking good and not cracking.

wooden cutting board look great

Good for cutting boards. Bottle needs a snap open and snap close top because the bottle top it has is prone to leakage.

I make a lot of custom cutting boards and serving boards. I use Howard's cutting board oil on all of them. long lasting, dries quickly.

I followed the instructions on the bottle and it worked well. I am now using my new cutting board regularly

I used it on my old wooded knives and it worked well. I used three coats because they have been in the dishwasher many time.

A little goes a long way! I used this to treat my butcher block counter tops and was very pleased with how easily this spread and was absorbed. The counters are glowing and feel beautifully protected.

This was very easy to apply and seems to be working well on my new bamboo cutting board.  I applied 4 coats 5 weeks ago and use/clean the board daily.

I oiled my chopping board with it, but it's no big deal. It's not like it made it great.
