Sturdiness

This is a great, sturdy post for an energetic cat at a very reasonable price. This particular sisal is thick and densely wrapped, making it last.  I've purchased several more expensive, fancy posts with a variety of "prettier" fibers and toys but have been disappointed at how fast they deteriorate.  I purchased 2 this time and received one in beige and one in a light, neutral dusty green.

My cat loves it.

I had this same one prior. I have 3 cats & it lasted for several years before I had to replace it. I keep a few scratching posts available for my cats & I have no claw marks on my furniture.

This item is perfect for my 3 cats. They are now using it and not the furniture.

Perrrfect

Easy to assemble and sturdy. My cat is 5 and newly adopted from a shelter. He has so far ignored it, but I'm hoping when lured by catnip he will pay more attention to this. No complaints.

Cat scratcher

Sorry, but my cat paid absolutely no attention to this scratching post. I even rubbed catnip on it and showed her how to use it. She doesn't care. It was a waste of money. It *was* cheap and easy to put together, I'll give it that.
