This hummingbird feeder is one of the best we've ever owned. It works just like it says it will and bugs do get trapped in the moat and never in the solution. I definitely don't have to worry about the solution being sloshed all over when we have high winds.

I have been hives, and the bees found my earlier feeders which consist of container gravity fed feeder.  The ports were too early accessible to the bees, and they swarmed these feeders.  If this feeder is NOT filled to capacity (fill to approx. 10 ozs. only), the bees are unable to get the nectar and eventually stop frequenting the feeder so the hummingbirds can feed in peace.

Keeps bees away

This is a really nice feeder for those with Ruby Throat Hummingbirds who do not like to share feeders.  Affordable so you can buy more than one and space them out to reach more birds.  Small quantity so you can change it often without wasting a lot of material.  It is well constructed and durable but strong winds may remove the top.  Ours have been very successful in attracting hummers in the yard.

These are so beautiful!  Our hummingbirds should be here soon and I am so anxious to see how they like the new feeders!  We also got the covers for for bird feeders and the birds love them!  It keeps them cool and keeps the sun off of them!

Beautiful Hummingbird Feeders!

This feeder is perfect for hummingbirds birds because they have a rest for their feet plus many ports from which they can drink.  Since purchasing these feeders (I bought 2), I have seen quite a few more hummers at these feeders. Great design for these little birds.

Great hummer feeder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hummerfest Hummingbird Feeder is by far the best feeder I've ever had. It's very easy to fill and easy to clean since its top shelf dishwasher safe. I had 2 other feeders already in use but as soon as I hung this feeder up, the hummingbirds flocked to it. I've now bought 2 more just like this one because they only want to use the Hummerfest Hummingbird Feeder.

Best Feeder I've Ever Had

Single port small feeder that attracted hummingbirds on the first day! It has been over a week and now we have many visits a day. The lid snaps closed securely and the unit can be held by the lid without the filled cup coming off so you can put it back on the steel holder with just one hand. Great value and very happy with purchase! I may get another one so I can see hummingbirds out every window. Btw I am located in MD. Thank you birdchoice friends!

Worked on day one!

On the expensive side but worth it!  Good quality and I think it will last for years. Easy to clean and change nectar which was a problem on my prior feeder. Hangs in front of my kitchen sink window so perfect for viewing. We are not seeing as many hummingbirds this year as in past years 😔

Hummingbird feeder

I bought one of these last year as my older, local store bought feeders were pretty run down.  This spring I realized I needed another replacement and ordered a second feeder.  At the onset, it appeared to be the same quality, however, the nut that secures the upside down hook, to the eye bolt on top is defective.  The nut continuously loosens as the weatherguard rocks in the wind to the point that it's dangling.  Slightly disappointing, but I just rethread the nut and put some duct tape on the hook threads to secure the weatherguard.

Repeat purchase

I have a couple of this style feeder from other brands. And they all have lids that either snap or screw onto the top of the feeder. Unfortunately, this feeder's top just sits on top with no way to secure it. Since it's a hanging feeder, the wind repeatedly knocks off the top leaving it pretty much useless. I tried using a rubber band to keep it on, but the elastic breaks down in the hot Southern sun. Very disappointed from an otherwise excellent brand.
