Bought this game for my 4 year old grand daughter. She loves it and we have a great time playing it.
The box is a much more convenient size than when my daughter had this game. The hippos are detachable for easy storage. They snap on under the game board along with a container to hold the marbles used in the game.
I highly recommend this game.
I also recommend that you check the price online as it was a few dollars less than the store shelf price.

I bought this game for my 4 year old grandson because it was one of the most favorite board games of my own children in this age group, The aunts , uncles, and cousins are all looking forward to playing it again with their nephew/cousin! This game is a timeless classic in our very large family!

Super fun game loved by kids and “grown-ups” too!

This is a great deal. I bought it for my son for his fourth birthday and he plays with it all the time. Easy to put together, easy to store, and keeps him entertained for a while.

My four year old LOVES this game!

Every now and then a hippo gets stuck and won't cooperate which frustrates my 3 year old but this game is so much fun! We can play over and over and no one person wins more than another - so sometimes my 3 yo can actually win!

So much fun for the whole family - all ages!

They have squeezed every nickel of cost possible out of the plastic parts.  The quality of the hippos is now so low that it's infuriating to play.  Half the time the hippo's heads don't rise up to eat a ball.  Other times the balls get lodged in the hippo's throats and need to be pried out.  I would be willing to pay more for a functional product.

Poor quality

I purchased this with such high hopes but the bottom bows out so it doesn't lay flat causing it to wobble during play and for the balls to drift towards one specific hippo every time. The game doesn't fit back into the box and the box has a window that the balls fall out of. I had to put them into a sandwich bag to prevent them from rolling out of the box. Overall poor craftsmanship and design.

Not functional

BEWARE OF HASBRO PRODUCTS. If I could select zero stars I would.  Shame on Hasbro for continuing making this shoddy product.  I bought this game 35 years ago for my children, and it was great.  I bought it again for my grand daughters 5 years ago, and it was terribly cheap.  I thought I would try once more now for my grand sons since this is really a great concept, but Hasbro has gone from bad to worst.  The toy did fall apart the first day. Obviously hasbro does not read the reviews, since for years this has been the case.  I thought that this time they would have done something about the quality. Shame on Hasbro for ruining kid's experience with their toys.  I will never buy this brand again.

Complete junk and poor quality! If falls apart easily and misleading “original hungry hungry hippos”. The original game was made better and didn't fall apart!!

This is not like the original game. This is a much smaller version than what was made in the 1980s. Very cheaply made. We can't even get the hippos to stay on the board. Very disappointing

This item is ABSOLUTELY nothing like what it use to be! It's cheap and doesn't even work properly because it's made so cheap! TOTAL WAIST OF MONEY! !! Hasbro should he ASHAMED of themselves!!!!!!!!
