Great fan! Love the look and quiet operation. Only issue is that a light was moved from this location using screws with the light. The new fan did not come with new fan box screws. The hunt was on for the correct screws and delayed project until the correct size was found.

Fans installed yesterday by my electrician (one hour, 2 techs, 4 fans 2 44 inch and 2 52 inch). Slight humming from the motors but nothing bothersome. Remotes work well and are simple to use, airflow good. Price was very reasonable, would recommend.

Hunter Fan Review

We have a "90%" LED lighted home, and a significant number of those lights are either Philips Hue or LIFX full color bulbs.  When we bought the previous fan in this room, almost all ceiling fans had Edison sockets, which we eventually filled with full-color controllable bulbs.

But when we went shopping for a replacement fan, we found most light kits are either monochrome or "CCT", which only controls how yellow or "blue" (think, daylight) the light is.

After much searching, we found the Hunter Dempsey, which has two E26 (think "ordinary light bulb") sockets, which we have filled with full-color app-controllable bulbs.

The fan is working well and is well-balanced.  It seemed a little odd that the "controller" (the electorincs box) is just sitting loose in part of the upper housing, but it didn't cause any real problem.  

Like other fans we've bought over the years, there is a temporary hanger for use during installation, and while the space is pretty tight when working with a low-profile fan, we were able to get everything running on the first try.

A rare low-profile fan with Edison sockets

This is a nice looking fan and good for a small bedroom. Fan is quiet. My only complaint is that the sensor for the remote control doesn't seem to work great when trying to turn the light off and on. You kind of need to be directly under the fan for it to work. I don't have the remote control mounted, so it's not that big of a deal, but is annoying.

Fan was easy to install.  Light is plenty bright for room. White fixture blends well with white ceiling. Creates adequate air flow at various fan speeds. Quiet operation. Only thing unexpectedly missing was wall fixture for remote storage.  Had to purchase separately from another supplier.
