I had Hunter fans in 3 bedrooms for 20 years then replaced the most used one when failing with a different brand.  It was so noisy I would often get up in the night to turn it off. I replaced it with another Hunter only one year later. The remaining 2 fans are still working and quiet.  I will never again purchase a fan other than a Hunter.

This is my 4th Hunter Fan. Love the look and they function as expected.

Can't beat these fans

For the kids rooms, I'm a fan of low-profile/flush fans, and this one is a beauty of one.  The Hunter fans aren't as strong as they used to be, but it's strong enough on high, and they are very stable out of the box with no balancing necessary.  Most of my rooms have Hunter fans in them these days.

Now we have two of these Low Profile Light/Fans in our large front room cooling us with only a whisper during this hot summer.  Looking forward to the wood stove and winter when we will be able to distribute the heat throughout the area using the fan moving air up and around.

Quiet attractive cooling

Ordered 3 fans. Same size. Different models. 2 balanced the first time through the balancing process. The third took two passes through the balancing processes. I could see, watching where the fan blade mounted that it was off... one blades mounting holes where slightly off and I could see the difference with the fan on high speed. I was able to balanc the FSN after a lengthy process.

Yet an othe 50 character title... ?

Can hear this fan hum, but not terrible. and does not seem to move as much air as the non-low profile builder model. I would not put in a bedroom, and I did not. Great for a common area where people sometimes walk.  Bright lights.

In a sitting room

One blade and/or bracket we received in this set was bent so the fan shakes. We've emailed to either get a replacement blade/bracket or see if we can return the entire fan but we have not heard back in a week. All the other (4) fans we received are perfect!!

Screws to secure motor to mounting bracket are too short. I needed to find longer screws and then the fan stopped shaking significantly.

Design Flaw

Lights are not working and we can't figure out why they don't work. Checked for electricity running to the lights, and that shows that there is electricity. We do have it on a dimmer switch, so now we need to figure out if that's the problem.
