Ease Of Installation

Design

Great experience ordering through the website . Brilliantly structured to tell me the perfect fan to order. We are well satisfied

Great website

hunterfan.com

Stacy

We love this fan. We can't believe how quiet it is- like angel wings flying- and it moves air amazingly well. We installed it in the master bedroom and it matches the colors perfectly- barnwood on one wall and grey with navy trim on others. We love Hunter fans!

Cassius fan

We bought this fan to put on our porch (our front outdoor living room for half the year) and it has exceeded our expectations. It's really beautiful and sleek and fits right in the aesthetic and matches the existing hardware. It is unobtrusive and does the job. Makes the humid nights a bit more comfortable and enjoyable for our family.

Sleek and Smooth Porch Fan

Replaced old screened in porch fan with this one. Easy to install, directions and diagrams are very helpful laying out parts and finding the screws, and accessories . This is not my first Hunter fan, so I have done this before.
Everything came in packed very good, and wrapped. I questioned the 3 blades, but it beat the old one with more blades hands down. This is my second Hunter purchase this year. Replacing old huge out of date fans.

Worth every dime spent. Ordering online was easy.

Installed two of these fans in a 3-car garage primarily to reduce heating costs and improve comfort in the winter. Installation was easy and the fan assemblies seem well built and sturdy. Purchased this model because it was advertised as an "outdoor" type, but I see that the fan blades are not plastic or steel but rather fiber board so I do have some concern about them saggy over time from the impact of high humidity. They are working well initially but we'll see how they hold up over time.

Cassius Outdoor Fan

We ordered three of these for under our pavilion. They look and operate great. I did not know they wouldn't come with the additional wiring extensions, drop down tubes, or remotes. Should have looked harder but I didn't and that added almost double to what I originally paid for the fans.

Pavilion Fans

This is a nice fan. I installed 3 of these on my front porch they Installed easily and operate quietly. Impressed with the amount of air it moves compared to a 60 in 5 blade. The only reason I could not give 5 stars is because the blades are mfg out of wood, although they are vinyl laminated we all know about dreaded blade droop. Time will tell, I would have preferred a plastic composite blade, even if it costs a little more.

My Opinion

First experience with 3 blades. Does not seem to cool as well.

Cassius Outdoor 52 inch

Agent

I installed two of these ceiling fans on a covered porch (11' by 18' by a ceiling only 8' tall) and after getting them installed, the fans on high speed did not seem to move as much air as I thought. The website specs list 4397 CFM, while the outside of the box lists 2982 CFM, which is like 2/3's of the air listed in the spec's. Because if this, I will need to take these down and put something else up in their place, because high speed seems like low speed.

Air flow on website vs listed on outside of box

For an outdoor fan this thing is really weak. We bought three for our patio and they might as well not be there☹️. Very disappointed.

Very weak fan

Hunter Cassius 52 Inch Indoor and Outdoor Ceiling Fan w/ Pull Chain, Matte Black centered front-facing view of a 3-blade matte black fan with matching motor housing and canopy, blades angled at 13 degrees, visible pull chain and short downrod for standard mounting, damp-rated for covered patios or sunrooms and suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
