We upgraded a still working 2003 Hunter ceiling fan in our vaulted living room with the larger more modern 52” Port Royal. Installation by the electrician was quick and efficient.  We love the remote and very nautical light globe.

Outdoor elegance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Hunter fans. We already have one in our living room, and the Port Royale caught my eye. It has a rustic, almost farmhouse charm to it, with a decorative Edison bulb light. It took my husband about 1.5 hours to complete the install. The directions were clear and simple, and it even comes with a remote to control the fan and light! I think my favorite part is that the light can be dimmed with the remote. I still can't believe how it transformed the look of our room. I'm very happy with this fan and plan on replacing our others in the house with Hunter.

I'm happy to report that it's up and whirling around beautifully.   It's chic and was easy to install. In fact, this was my husband's first time installing a fan, and he had no issues. It's also nice a quiet, which is a plus. Highly recommend.

Back Porch Installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ceiling fan cools my large living room and looks great too. It has a stylish farmhouse look to it. Everything but the decorative cage and blades are made from black iron. The cage is made from plastic. The black iron with the glass globe looks great together. The fan also comes with an Edison bulb that looks cool shown through the glass. The blades are reversible from light tan to dark espresso. The blade spinning direction can be reversed for circulating air in the summer and winter. The installation is laid out clearly so you can understand it and find the correct hardware and parts easily. The ceiling fan comes with a remote that can turn the fan on, control the speed, turn the light on and dim the light. There is a remote cradle that attaches to your wall so you lose the remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is a beautiful color. It is made of solid material. Not cheaply made like other brands. It was fairly easy to install myself. Everything i needed was in the box. I like the design and how it is different than the traditional light fans. It give more character to the design. When i turned it on it produces a lot of circulation. It will help save on my electric bill this summer. It was quiet when the fan part was turned on.

Fan with light

Lovely quiet fan, only negative is the glass globe does hang low- if you have tall people it may be an issue. The fixture gives off farmhouse vibe. I wish globs was smaller with maybe a frosted globe to give a more modern look. The other drawback will occur if you have to change light bulb- you have to remove globe and case and part of fan with screwdriver- quite cumbersome. I hope since it is energy efficient bulb I won't have to change often. It took my spouse over 2 hours to install.

I really dont like how the switch to change the direction of the fan is inside the light fixture glass. When i want to change it around in the winter or fall I have to take the entire outer cage and glass off to do it. That seems like a very bad design flaw to me.

Good Fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm looking to replace our bedroom ceiling fan for a few months and we're thrilled to receive this. It has a really nice design and compliments our more Bohemian decor even though it's a modern rustic design. The fan does an excellent job pushing air and I love the look over the Edison bulb fixture. Two issues with this though: 1) the fan direction switch is very inconvenient as it is located in the light fixture. You have to physically remove the glass to switch directions. Don't like that. 2) the remote is not very user friendly. It's difficult to dim the light. There are no speeds listed. Overalls I'm glad that we got this fan. It was relatively easy to install and does the job while looking great. I would recommend it.
