This was for my Poulan Pro PR270A snow blower. Hit a branch under the snow and sheared the original bolts. Length on the new ones are good but the shoulder seems tall and the bolt head sticks out higher than what I remember the old ones did. Works the same though. For the price difference, I can't complain.

It does not matter how slow you move forward or the amount of snow you try to remove, the shear bolts continually shear off. If you position the machine so as to only use half the width of the machine so as to reduce the amount of snow removal, you still end up with broken shear bolt. Is there a specific torque when installing the shear bolts?

Terrible.  Shear bolts kept breaking in a storm.  They were very tight so that wasn't the problem.

The description "Shear Bolt Kit with 6 bolts" of this item is wrong!
The picture shows six bolts and six nuts, but what is actually ordered only a single bolt.  It turns out that Walmart was alerted by the third-party vender that the item was presented incorrectly, it was never corrected on their website.
