My landlord put locks on all outdoor faucets. They left our outdoor surroundings bare dirt for over a year. They finally put in some plants and wood chips but ate nor coming around often enough to keep plants alive. It’s too exhausting to water by bucket. We also live in a high fire zone. I’m going to hook this hose up in my kitchen to the sink faucet.

This is my second Hydrotech lawn and garden hose. I registered this new one immediately because my first one the nozzle yellow plastic split in two and I didn’t have my receipt in a month. I purchased another one because I needed a 100 ft expandable hose for my huge yard. I’m hoping this one last longer than a month for the price. This time I’m registering it and holding onto the receipt.

So far so good

I purchased my first hose from homedepot. Worked great. But started leaking. Only had the hose one summer. Filed a warranty claim and received a new one today. That is a great company.

Second expandable hose.

I very much liked the 10 year warranty. Too often I find myself replacing items despite my care and maintenance. I purchased this hose for its flexibility as well. Unfortunately I did not notice that the strain relief was damaged and with the valve on the hose shut off I pressurized the hose. Without the strain relief I saw a water balloon form and then burst. The packaging was completely intact with no visible damage but I wanted to relay this information to Hydrotech. I'm going to give the product a 3 star at this point and hope their Warranty and phone service is great. I have already called them and so far so good. Will follow up with a Google Review when all done.

Expandable Burst Proof Hose

Just bought the hose today, that’s why the : stars. Out of the package it seems fine, but the plastic threads at hose attachment point at the spigot might not hold up. I’ll need to wait on the 5 stars for a few months.

Hydrotech 100’ expandable hose

This is our replacement hose first purchased last year. It blew several holes this spring plus a leak on the "Force Control Tech" connection. I don't believe we registered it. Our 50 footer is doing the same thing. I would love for you to replace them.

Expandable hose

I like that the hose is collapsible and light, but I have purchased this product now for the 4th time because the connection between the hose and the faucet keeps breaking. The second one that I bought started leaking, so I returned it to Home Depot and exchanged it. That one then started leaking too, but I continued to use it until it burst completely apart. The package states 10 year warranty, but when I went to the company site, it tells you that you had to have registered the product within 30 days of purchase or it voids the warranty. Nowhere on the packaging is this stated and who registers a water hose from HD? You only find out when you have a problem and also that they will not honor the warranty without timely registration. So, as long as the product lasts longer than 30 days, there is a 99% chance they will not need to honor the stated 10 year warranty.

Hose good, connector bad

Bought the hose at my local hardware store. Opened the package today to use it for the first time, attached it to the spigot and turned it on and immediately the yellow and black plastic connector blew into two pieces. Junk.

Unfortunately, Home Depot delivered a defective unit. It seems to be a product returned by a previous customer who over-tightened the plastic coupling. See attached photo.

I bought one because it stores easily.  It lasted for 3 days before it broke.  I bought a replacement to use until I could get some service for the first.  The second one didn’t last more than a minute.  Both broke where they attach to the faucet.
