It does what it says on the package, like all seeding, the ground has to be lite rake and moist, not real wet, spray the seed on and keep the ground (where sprayed) moist, I did mine at evening when the sun is not too hot and only once a day, and that is all that needs, in about 2 1/2 weeks the grass comes out in full force. it will be ready to mow in about 4 weeks. very satisfied and will buy again if needed.

Took a little longer to first sprout, 14 days instead of 7, but other than that it performed very well. I'm happy with the purchase and intend to buy more.

Verified as advertised

This stuff is crap there was zero green hydro mulch that came out when I sprayed it just wet seeds lol
They advertise it like it's a great product but it isn't don't buy this  product 
Sounded great but it's a scam

It was absolutely a waste of money. The green agent that you add that's supposed to coat the seat and make it stay where you spray it was just green dye. So you know what happens when you hook green dye to your garned hose? You end up with your hands and anything else that's exposed dyed green, but do you know what didn't happen? Not one area that I used this on grew grass. I was just trying to cover some thin areas in my yard where i had to do some digging, so it wasn't like i was trying to grow grass on a rock. It is a mostly sunny, flat, and well drained area. Do not waste your time and money!

This is to inform you that your Hydromousse spray canister is defective. 
 I loaded the grass seed and chemical bag into the canister and attached the lid tightly making sure the dial was in the OFF position.  I then attached the hose and turned on the water.  I turn the selector switch to Light Seed and filled the canister ¾ with water and turned it back to the Off position per the directions.  I then turned the selector switch back to Light Seed and started applying the hydro seed.  Within the first minute the canister blew off and covered me from face to toe in seed and chemical.  I immediately went into the house and began washing the material off my face and flushing my eyes.  I then stripped my clothes off and went into the shower to continue to wash the chemical off my legs and arms.  I flushed my eyes for 15 minutes in the shower to ensure I had removed all the chemical out of my eyes.  I hope this will not cause any future eye issues for me.
There is no reason beside an improper design of this canister for this accident.  After I cleaned up, I recreated this issue with water only.  The canister again separated from the sprayer unit within a minute spraying water from the Light Seed position.

It never foamed up. It just  made blue water. It wasn't  any good at all. I have used some before this and it worked. This product didn't  work.

The seed is fine, the system was awful.  The applicator is plactic and everything leaked, the hose connection the lid for the jar and the application nozzle.  I was covered in green dye and the seed never left the jar.

Never again

Horrible product! I threw away the spray bottle. It did not work like commercial shows. It was horrible, it kept leaking and would not spray evenly, I threw the seeds by hand ! Wasted 20 bucks on the bottle and spray
