These are larger than your standard rat tail comb. The teeth are thicker and made out of a better quality material. The teeth will not snap off this comb. If you are looking for fine teeth this is not the comb for you, but if you need to section thick hair, this will work better than a standard rat tail comb.

Larger than standard rat tail comb

I like rat tail combs because I can hold onto the comb easier. The comb colors are good and are easier to find in my purse. I will own the disappointment I have with these combs in that I read the description - which reads fine teeth. They are not. I should have looked closer at the picture.
