[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the blue version of this hyper drift climbing king rc. Upon opening the package, it was larger than I expected which is always great. It requires 2 AA batteries for the remote and the car itself has a rechargeable USB battery inside. I appreciate this feature however you have to unscrew the battery cover to plug in the charger every time. That is my ONLY complaint on this RC. Everything else is beyond impressive. The lights are so fun and attractive, the car plays music and dances to it. The car has the standard forward, backward movement but also has the option to drift sideways. The tires are larger so it can drive over larger obstacles. The remote is pretty self explanatory. I am pleased with this RC and recommend to all ages and genders.

Awesome, kid loves it. Battery last before needing a charge.

Pretty awesome RC. Was looking for a cheap drone and this caught my eye. It's got front LED baja lights and LED strip lights underneath. It's faster than I thought it would be and my 5-year old boy instantly fell in love with it. The downside is that the USB charger cable was missing from the packaging, so I'll have to exchange it, but that's not enough for me to lower the star rating as it's really a cool unit with surprising maneuverability, build and features. Love it for the price, considering RC can be a VERY expensive hobby. Coming from someone who has previously owned a Traxxas 4wd RC. Not saying this is in the same class as that, but it is fun for the kids and if it breaks, well it wont coat hundreds to fix.

You will not be disappointed!

First problem with this is that you have to charge the battery off a computer. this wasnt mentioned anywhere on the box or in the description. truck randomly turns off moments after starting to play with it. truck is very cool how it moves side to side and dances but definitely has some problems.

disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very very difficult to remove the screws to the battery compartment to both the remote and the car itself. The battery in the car needs a full day of charging overnight if possible. The remote needs 2 double a batteries. You need an ultra tiny screw driver which should have been included in the box. You also need about 15-20 minutes to back the tiny screws from the holes. The forward function on the car has broken in less then 3 days of playing so now it only drives.in a.circle. the music is loud and kids will love it once you get it going. The toy is tough and cool looking. But the battery only lasts maybe 3 hours then another full night of charging. I will post pictures that show the problematic screws battery and battery compartment. It would be nice if it.came charged so the kid could at least see what it is supposed to do. The remote feels cheap and is hollow plastic and wont last as long as the vehicle. The car.took a fall off a bed and lost a tire tread which I snapped back I to place for my.son. seems to be for outdoor use but dont get it.wet. I would not buy unless improvements were made. My son because disaffected by it's short battery life and busted forward function in 3 plays each play truncated by a whole day.of re charging. Not worth more then $20 in my opinion. Sorry they will only let me upload 2 pictures. Too bad I took a dozen just to show the problems.

Need tons of patience but cool toy

Bought last christmas. It lasted only 2 days, then a wheel stopped working, much like others have described. Also, batteries have to be removed to be charged with a wall charger. This requires a screwdriver. You'd think in 2021 that you could just have a usb port to charge it, like almost all electronics. Also, hard to control, drives erratically but that can also be fun.

Poor design

Bought 2 of these on sale. Both were broken within 45 mins of my kids using them. Extremely poor quality with cheap plastic gears that strip and crack under normal use.

Wonderful toy but poor range for RC. It is so fast it is quickly out of range and unresponsive. As long as you're 15 feet away from it, great.
