Offers varying speeds for project requirements.

Can be versatile with multiple choices, but some may feel flimsy.

Has enough power for various tasks and materials.

Has a sturdy build with some minor exceptions.

Ive always had problems with power tools . Im 58yo woman with Fibro. This tool is the answers to my prayers as I can do small jobs around the house. I do have an issue with the attachments. First it looks like a lot, but many do the same thing as far as grit. It should at least have enough to help sand at least one piece of furniture. I do think the cost is reasonable.

Great tool even for small nerve damaged hands

walmart.com

I got this to grind down a strike plate on a door that would not close. It did the trick and I am so happy. I am not mechanically minded, but the tool was very easy for me to use. The power was very impressive. I have several Hyper Tough tools and they all work well and have a good price.

This is one of those purchases where it wasn't a must buy for me but was definitely a buy that I'm glad I made. The product is great. Is it something I use every day? No. But it takes projects up to the next level. And that I appreciate. Great product!

Great item

It's great for woodworking, sharpening, and paint removal. On certain tools that you want to refinish. If you get an extra container of a bits It really helps for wood carving to. I recommend the heart branded Dremel tool set. It's also reasonably priced and comes with a container that swivels around. Here's some projects I have done with it.

It's a great kit for projects

works REALLY well, only reccomendation is that you also buy the hyper tough kit which comes with much more extras and its only 10 bucks, I used to the tool to cut small wood, thin plywood and mainly plexyglass and it does it ALL, 10/10 would reccomend

its a great tool for the price

I like the tool itself but the disc for cutting break apart within minutes no matter the speed. The grinding accessories are very thin and one use only. So don't count too much on the accessories.

Nice tool but accessories not up to par

The hyper tough website is for sale. The link address on the warrenty card is non existant. I have a two year warrenty on this unit and apparently there is no hyper tough company to get parts from, let alone fix a unit. The rotery tool works well, and coming with an extra set of broshes kind of scares me, as to the longevity of the armature. And it is one noisy unit.

I bought this item for a project I was working on and unfortunately due to a missing collet I was unable to use any attachments. While I am not sure if this was due to a manufacturing error or someone with sticky fingers, unfortunately I had to return the product due to no attachments being able to fit without a collet. Returning the item was easy, but now I need to buy another one else where.

the collet was missing

The material used to make the tip(s) looks like it is made with recycled material. to be clear the tip makes the "cut". Next issue is the part that slides into the rotary tool is being made with tinsel. I believe tinsel is considered trash. I also believe this is at least to safety issues for wal-mart. Thank you for your time.

Have bought two of these in a months time. First one, after a couple of weeks, the front bearing started going bad. Replaced it with another, thinking it just could of bad bearing from the factory. Now the second one, after about two weeks the collet won't hold any tools. I'm not buying a third.
