Not very powerful but good enough for cutting the fronds off a palm tree. It has a pretty short cord so make sure you have an extension cord to use it around the yard.

Nice little saw, would not use as contractor but great for home

Nice little saw

Bought to replace 6.5 Amp Craftsman saw that finally quit that I paid $150 for 12 years ago..Delivery was very quick.It's half the weight of my old saw so I had my doubts,cut down an old vine about 6 inch diameter with no problem.So far very impressed,good power and light,at price I don't expect it to last 12 years but that's ok.

Good Value Saw

I got the job done faster and with less effort, the electric saw is affordable and easier to use, it came assembled and ready for the job, just insert the blade and plug into power outlet.

It seems sturdy and did what I expected it to do, but my only concern is the lack of a safety switch to prevent it from running when both hands are not holding the saw.

Recip Saw

Bought it to cut apart a sofa and chair that I wanted out the door fast to make room for the new one. Worked great, blade held up and surprisingly powerful for the lady tool box.

Easy to handle and got the job done fast

Quite possibly the lowest-priced reciprocating saw on the market, so don't expect any of the features in more expensive saws.  It's a basic unit.  Doesn't have a rafter hook, storage bag, speed control dial, tool-free shoe adjustment, or even a holder for the hex key used for adjusting the shoe, so it's easy to lose that hex key.  Definitely no oscillating action and, unlike higher-priced name brand saws, there are no replacement parts readily available if something should break.  There's a moderate amount of noise and vibration in use, but it feels capable of the light-duty jobs around the home for DIYers.  Definitely get some high-quality name brand blades for it to make the cutting go faster and smoother.

Poor quality - won't work for me

the repack box looked good. the actual box the saw came in was trashed therefore the two blades that were to be inside were missing. you can do better

It was a dull blade and didnt do the job I needed to cut some wood.  I thought it being a power tool it could cut some wood but it kept getting jammed. I wouldn't recommend this product.
