When I first saw this product I didn't think it would be very strong. When I received them (I ordered 2) they are very light and the top has a wonderful soft cushion. I take my shoes off because the cushion is so soft. The foot rest is a lot more durable then it looks. I've had the one for 2 weeks now and it takes a beating from me my legs are restless and I'm constantly pushing it one way or another or tipping it over. It is pleasing to look at under the desk and can take the beating I give it without a problem. If you need a foot rest I highly recommend the Fellows I-Spire Series Foot Cushion foot rest.

I used it for my deskroom and after a few months of use it cracked... then broke right in the middle another month later. This thing isn't made for resting your feet on it, there's no beam in the middle, the arc bends a little at every use and eventually, it cracks and breaks. Cheap piece of useless lean-on.
