Ordered this yesterday as I was tired of my inaccurate crosscut sled. I also have the Kreg Precision Miter Gauge, that's great for smaller items but anything larger than 8" or so is a no-go on my sawstop. This item arrived via USPS from the Springfield Grizzly location, the box was in excellent condition and pretty well packed, a few of the pieces such as the flip stop were taped to the table, I wish they had been packaged as the table was scratched slightly while in transit. Assembly of the sled took about an hour, the directions were quite good and I had no real issues with anything, all tools used for assembly are imperial, the hex wrenches are all included, the only tool not included was a 1/2" wrench and a phillips head screwdriver. The fence was already set to a perfect 90' to the saw blade according to my precision square, however it was not exactly square to the table itself, the adjustment directions made it quite easy to get it square. I have done a few test cuts on some cutting boards I had made on my old sled, this squared them up perfectly. There are a few things that I have done that others may find helpful. I've replaced most of the 1/4"-20 screws with thumb screws, this will eliminate the need for a wrench when making angled cuts. Also when first cutting the panels for the sled on my saw I wrapped the end of the sled in painters tape, this was to prevent chipout. In the near future I will also be building a sacrificial fence to help push small cutoffs through, this will keep them from shooting off of the blade. Having a sawstop I've made sure that the fence is a good 1" away from the blade, if it touches the fence while in operation it would activate the brake, ruining the blade and the brake.

I have had one for many years. Very accurate'smooth. My left side wooden deck (the part that moves) was damaged when I moved it from Alaska. Does anyone know if replacement parts are available?
